Rating: Summary: A must read Review: A wonderful book This book covers all the emotions. You will laugh, cry and be filled with joy. Jax Winchester fell in love with Kelly O'Brien when she was a teenager. Circumstances kept them about for seven years. Jax returns as a best selling author and his plan is to make Kelly his own. Kelly has a lot of trust issues to work through before she can give her heart to Jax. The story within a story of Jared and Carrie really blends and adds to the main love story. Letters to Kelly is a treasure, definitely a keeper.
Rating: Summary: A different Brockmann Review: Courtesy of Love RomancesFor two years, Tyrone Jackson Winchester the second (Jax) has been imprisoned in a political cell in Central America and has gone through hell. The only things that keep him alive are his love for Kelly and the letters that he wrote her but never have a chance to send. Kelly O??Brien was twelve when she met Jax, the college roommate of her brother and they became very good friend. When Kelly turned sixteen, Jax escorted her to her prom dance and they confessed their love for each other. Moreover, Jax made a promise to marry Kelly on her eighteen birthday but he never showed up. In LETTERS TO KELLY, Brockmann has a very different style in penning the tale. Unlike her past novels, this one is intense with emotion and filled with sadness. Readers will sympathize the main characters and sigh for them. Remember to grab a box of tissue before you start this book, you will probably cry and have tears in your eyes when the story unfolds page by page.

Rating: Summary: Touching Love Story Review: Having now read many of Ms. Brockmann's books, I've come to expect big things from her as an author. I'm happy to say she has never let me down, and this time is no different. Picture a guy who through a twist of fate is kept in a foreign country's prison, with only the love of a girl back home to keep him alive and sane. Picture how she tries to go on with her life after his unexplained and heart-breaking disappearance. Picture how their lives cross again and again, with his true feelings expressed only in those love letters she'll never read... until... she sees... Dear Kelly... It's an absolutely beautiful love story. Thank you Ms. Brockmann for telling the tale.

Jax is a sweetheart of a man that proves to be a unique and irresistible hero. Though this book was written years ago when Ms. Brockmann was just starting out in her writing career, she brings us a well written and heartfelt story that captivates readers.

Rating: Summary: Terrific Writer-Suzanne Brockmann Review: I especially like reading stories from Ms Brockman, They are all about the superheros who lift us above ourselves in what we think we can do to what we really can do if we just put the effort into the project. Since most of her heros are Navy Seals that fits right in with our current political times.
Rating: Summary: Letters to Kelly Review: I just read Letters to Kelly by Suzanne Brockmann. I finished it in one sitting. There was no way I could put it down. I think it might just be the most romantic story I've ever read, and I've read hundreds of romance novels. Jax, Kelly, and their histories - their shared history, and each of their separate paths - were woven into an incredibly beautiful tale. There were some funny moments to keep things from becoming overly intense, including a few priceless scenes where Jax was arguing with his own characters. Letters to Kelly is not especially steamy, or action-oriented, or suspenseful, or a lot of other things that often make a book good. None of those elements would have added a thing to the story. It's all about the characters, their relationship, and their emotions. It's truly one of the best books I've ever read. If you are a fan of Suzanne Brockmann, romance in general, or even think you might like to give a romance novel a try, don't miss Letters to Kelly.
