Summary: WOW This has been my fave so far!!!
Review: I had been dying to read the story of Devin and Cassie since the return of Rafe Mackade. Nora Roberts did a great job with these books, I love how each character seems to be a reincarnation of the ghosts from the past. I thought this was the best so far (I haven't read the fall of shane yet though). I like Rafe and regan together and I think Jared and Savannah's story was okay (although I don't really like Savannah's character all that much) but how can you not love Cassie and Devin!! These books are must reads!!

Summary: One of the most touching stories I've ever read
Review: I just finished this book after having it only two days. Nora Roberts did a fabulous job letting the reader into the lives of all the characters. I laughed throughout the story at the subtle humor and cried at the touching parts. I will definitely be looking for the rest of the MacKade series as well as all of Nora Roberts books!

Review: I read the entire 'MacKade Brothers' series. They are all great, but THE HEART OF DEVIN MACKADE is my favorite. Sheriff Devin MacKade has been in love with Cassie Dolin for 12 years. He loved her when she was just a girl and he loved her all the time she was married to her abusive husband. This is their story. It is a beautifully written and emotional love story. I especially loved Devin MacKade: strong, sexy, and gentle. This is the third book in the series. Devin and Cassie intrigued me from the very start of the series in THE RETURN OF RAFE MACKADE.

Summary: This Book Is A Keeper!
Review: It is hard to choose a top 5 for Nora Roberts, but this would absolutely be in it for me. First, Ms. Roberts does a great job setting this story up by having the characters appear in previous books in the series (in fact, you are in love with all four MacKades by the end of book 1!). By the time this book comes out, you can't wait to read Cassie and Devin's story. This book is touching, surprising, sexy and funny, all at once. You will not want to put it down! In fact, I would love to see follow-up stories on all the MacKade husbands & brides. They are just as fun to read about after they are married as they are before!

Review: Sorry for the corny title, but it is true and after you read this book you'll know why.
Ever since I was first introduced to Cassie in Rafe's story, I had wanted to read her story. I was not disappointed in the least, for it far surpassed my expectations, since the first two stories were rather average yet still good (The Return Of Rafe Mackade and the Pride Of Jared Mackade). Devin is by far my favorite MacKade, I think every woman wants a man like him. And Cassie was a charmingly lovely heroine for the Devin. Just perfect together.

Review: this being the second of the four ive read, i cant wait to get my hands on the other two! this is a great story! kind of reminds me of an old saying (that im sure to butcher so bear with me!) the farther you go to find that special thing, the more likely it is it was always near you. that indeed seems to be the case for cassie and devin in this book! ::smile
