Rating: Summary: even better than i remembered, Review: i read this book again after reading it a few months ago and it was just as good if not better than i remembered.
Rating: Summary: Not her usual formula, but good.......... Review: IMPETUOUS- Lori Foster I realize this is a re-release but I still found it entertaining. Lori Foster wrote this book in 1996 and I can see she hadn't quite developed her now signature Lori Foster Alpha-Male character. This book seemed a little more balance to me, not so much male brevado as she is writting now.Carlie is a shy woman hurt by the men in her past and isn't looking for a man. She lets her best friend talk her into wearing a very revealing costume to a party and attracts the #1 male batchelor in town, Tyler. Tyler is intrigued by carli from a distance, unlike the rest of the female population this disguised woman isn't throwing herself at him she's running from him. Well Tyler follows and one thing lead to a one nite stand with a woman he doesn't even know and he can't get his sister-in-law to tell him who she was. So he moves on but doesn't quite forget the woman and the instant chemistery they shared. Enters fate, Tyler ends up helping shy Carli with a charity project and becomes intrigued with her too. She isn't throwing herself at him. The premise is good and enjoyable. Read the book to find out did Tyler find out who his mystery woman was or does his memory of the mystery woman disrupt a great friendship and budding romance with Carli. ONE WICKED WEEKEND- Julie Elizabeth Leto Lauren returns to New Orleans to write an article for her magazine and decides to also punnish her former lover, Luc, for dumping her painfully eight years ago. But Luc has other plans. I like this very short story.

Rating: Summary: A hot romance...plus bonus... Review: In Impetuous, Lori Foster brings to life two characters who have their own reasons for avoiding love. For Carlie, it is a past hurt that has her hiding herself behind frumpy clothing and big glasses. After a disastorous marriage, Carlie is determined never to expose herself the the hurt she knows comes with relationships. All that changes one impulsive night when she meets Tyler Ramsay incognito. Tyler never found a woman that could hold his attention for a few months. Most called him a womanizer, but those closest to Tyler knew the truth. Not he not only has a mystery lady he can't forget, he has prickly Carlie McDaniels, a woman that he actually enjoys being with. Lori Foster is at her best in this erotic romance that will hook the reader. There is also a short story that is very short, but sweet too.
Rating: Summary: fun fantasy for me!b Review: Lori Foster has always shown me a really good time while reading her wonderful stories. IMPETUOUS is a really fun book. I hope you will buy it and read it, I think you owe it to yourseelf. I am such a shopping person that my husband finally put his foot down and now for a whole year all he will let me buy myself are my favorite romance novels...not a bad thing, I enjoy reading as much as I enjoy shopping.

Rating: Summary: Note that this is a previously published release Review: Lori Foster is a wonderfully talented author of sensuous romantic fiction. I purchased this book unaware that it was released first in 1996. The story is very satisfying but lacks the depth (and heat ;) ) that her more recent works have. Foster's fans will appreciate how much her talent has evolved in the years since Impetuous was first released.
Rating: Summary: A classic and a bonus! Review: Lori Foster started the wave of hot contemporary category romances with her book, IMPETUOUS. Here's a great chance to revisit this groundbreaking story, newly packaged. Also, you get a free bonus read from up-and-coming author, Julie Elizabeth Leto. ONE WICKED WEEKEND is ultra-hot!
Rating: Summary: Simply One of the Best Review: Romance novels are usually boring. They are full of cliches and tired characters and they try too hard to be smoldering and passionate. This is not the type of book Ms. Foster has written. Instead she has written a book that is worthy of serious attention. This book is good. The hero is all too human, which is what makes him so loveable despite his foolishness, or maybe because of it. The heroine is like most women out there, knowing that when a thing looks too good to be true, it probably is. And like most women missing that it could be just as true as it's good. The writing flows well, with hilarious scenes and dialogue, the love scenes make you look up from the pages to make sure no one is watching you in your pleasure. All in all, a very satisfying read. This is the one I give to people who mock me when they see me reading romances. They too look up occasionally to make sure I'm not watching them in their pleasure.
Rating: Summary: Future books to be released. Review: Thank you to everyone who read IMPETUOUS and took the time to comment. I've found readers to be incredibly generous, friendly, and open.
I have a new book coming out in April, and since it is so different, for me and for Harlequin Temptation, I'd like to take a moment to tell you about it. OUTRAGEOUS, due out in early April, will be the first release of Harlequin's new BLAZE series for Temptation. BLAZE books will not only sport a new look, with live, HOT flames on the cover, but the content will be much more sensual, erotic and explicit than you might normally find in a category romance. Historicals and mainstreams have long had the freedom to fully express emotions and sexual situations surrounding love, and now, the popularity of those themes are carrying over into Temptation.
I look forward to hearing opinions from readers about this new concept, and I heartily wish everyone good reading!
My best,
Lori Foster
