Review: "Indulge Me" by Lori Foster. Reticent Becky enters a sex shop at the coaxing of her friends. Following her into the shop is George, who lusts after Becky. George helps Becky purchase some items and persuades her to let him introduce her to the world of light sexual bondage. George begins to kiss Becky, but she slows him down. He agrees because he wants more than just a one-night stand."Naughty by Night" by Janelle Denison. Gabe returns to San Diego to get Chloe back in his life after he left her six years ago. At a poker game they agree to a special stake. Chloe wins and tells Gabe he will service her for the next four nights. Gabe thinks this is the opportunity he needs, but Chloe plans to use him before leaving him. "And When They Were Bad" by Donna Kauffman. Cameron is tired of being the Good Samaritan to the world. He travels to an exclusive island club to play out his fantasy of being a bad boy. At the isle, he intercedes twice when males manhandle Allison. Cam and Allie make love, but she plans to leave in the morning because she believes Cam would never want her in his life. These three tales star couples in which an inexperienced woman gets the man of her dreams to make love to her several times and in several ways before he proposes marriage to her. Summary: Lori Foster's characterizations=too shallow for me
Review: A collection of 3 novellas of erotic romance. There is a highish price tag on this trilogy, but it is definitely worth it if `hot' is your bag, as these steamy stories are great representatives of their type. `Indulge Me' is the second story of three that Foster is telling about 3 friends who make a bet to visit a newly opened porn shop in their squeaky clean middle America town. Becky Harte's is the middle story (it doesn't take any psychic talent to forsee that the 3 stories will probably be amalgamated into one volume and reprinted by the publisher at a later date - like `The Winston Brothers'). Becky is quiet, shy and hiding something. She needs to find someone who is into bondage in order to release her inhibitions and let herself go wild. George Westin has fancied Becky the entire time they'd been working for the same company, but was convinced Becky did not reciprocate his interest. When he found out from a friend what Becky was planning, George resolved to become her partner. Only he thought that she would be the one tied up... but that was not Becky's plan at all. `Naughty by Night' tells the story of Chloe Anderson and Gabe Mackenzie, ex friends and almost lovers. The trust between them was shattered six years ago when Gabe appeared to lead Chloe along and then dump her, then heading out of town to Chicago, where he has since made a name for himself as a sports agent. They still know each other through Chloe's brothers, but are no longer truly friends and see each other very infrequently. He's in town again, at the poker game that Chloe and her brothers play weekly. And something seems to have changed - the sexually charged atmosphere always simmering between them has jumped up a notch or twelve. Ultimately more than money is bet, and now Gabe is hers for 3 hot dates. Dates that Chloe means to bring things to a boil and sear Gabe from her system once and for all. You know what they say about the best laid plans... `And When They Were Bad' is about Cameron James IV, who has had a very bad year. He's now vacationing at Intimacies, a chance to lose the `good boy' that he's been all his life and find his wild side at this private club where anything goes. Allison Walker is hardly the woman of his fantasies - a bit clumsy, always getting herself into deep water, and physically not his type. And yet he can't seem to stop himself from helping her out, can't seem to avoid running into her, and can't seem to get her out of his mind, until the situation presents itself when he can act on his surprising attraction. I liked all 3 stories, although the first and last were my favourites because they featured shy or insecure women who came into their own. And as for heat - phew!

Review: All three stories were steamy. The first and third had something of a storyline and a sense of humor. IMHO Janelle Denison should stick with historical romances- the male character actually uses the word 'vixen'.

Review: I gave this book 3 stars because, Lori Foster's story was the best of the three. Donna Kauffman's story was so-so, but Janelle's was just plain awful in my opinion.

Summary: A Mind-Blowing Anthology!
Review: I hadn't tried these romance anthologies until now. Glad I did! This is one of the most mind-blowingly great reads I have had all summer. Romance and erotica are a match made in heaven! I Love Bad Boys has three stories. Lori Foster's "Indulge Me" is my favorite one. It was a pleasure -- so to speak -- to indulge in the story of shy-girl-breaking-out-her-shell Becky and her fantasy to experience bondage with George Westin, her boss and long-time crush, come true. The scenes are provocative to the max. I also enjoyed the two other stories, "Naughty By Night," by Janelle Denison and "...And When They Were Bad," by Donna Kauffman. But, unlike "Indulge Me," these stories have chapters that are completely devoted to intimate scenes. As a fan of erotica, I love to read books of this sort, but reading chapters with only intimate scenes in them is like reading a thriller with nothing but murder scenes in chapters. There's just too much sex! I would have liked to know more about the characters. But, alas, the stories are still great and romantic. I also love the fact that the book's so-called "Bad Boys" aren't bad at all, save for the bedroom. I look forward to reading more of these romance/erotica anthologies in the future. The stories are sensuous and romantic at the same time. I highly recommend this gem!

Review: I LOVE BAD BOYS are three stories of three ladies who are good girls and who want a night of passion with a bad boy. The front cover promises that these are "tales of erotic romance." They are not kidding...all three stories promise to scorch your fingers as you read the book. Although the stories are hot, they are still very much romance stories. The guys in these stories may not be what some would call "Bad Boys," but they are to the women who lust after them.
Indulge Me by Lori Foster features the second of three female friends from her earlier story, Satisfy Me (in ALL THROUGH THE N IGHT). Becky Harte wants to keep her side of the bet she and her friends had by entering a Porn shop and propositioning the first man she encounters for a night of wild sex. George Westin secretly knows about the pact and wants to be that man. Both secretly lust after one another, but for various reasons, had not acted upon it. Now each has their chance. I found the story very good, and hot.
Naughty by Night by Janelle Denison has a couple who have known one another since they were teenagers. Chloe Anderson and Gabe Mackenzie were attracted to one another when young, but he felt compelled to resist. Now he is older and back in town, ready to act upon his desires. Chloe is also eager to embark on a brief affair with him to satisfy her fantasies and boy, does she ever have hot fantasies. Another hot story.
...And When They Were Bad by Donna Kauffman has a couple who meet for the first time at a vacation resort. Cameron James IV could have any woman he wants at the resort, but he is drawn to Allison Walker, who seems to be getting in over her head. They are both the quintessential good guy and good girl who come to the resort to be bad. They end up with being bad with one another... In my opinion, the hottest story of the three, although all three would rate as hot stories.
Overall, I was very satisfied with the three stories. I got what I wanted: romance, hot stories and a happily ever after. I look forward to seeing the three authors continuing to write for the Brava line, as they show they know how to write blazing erotic romance.

You'll want to read more by all three of these authors!
