Rating: Summary: Simply the best!! What more can I say??? Review: My absolute favorite romance novel. This is a book that you will not be able to put down. I have read it and read it again, and I never tire of it. It truly is a heartwarming love story. I highly recommend this book. And on that note, I would recommend anything written by Karen Robards- she is a great author and I have not been disappointed by her yet.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: Steamy romance, deceit, and tragedy all rolled into one. I simply could not put this book down. This is definately a must read for anyone seeking some romance in their life. I highly recommend you buy and read it.
Rating: Summary: Good the first time, not a second Review: The first time I read this book I thought that it was great. I loved how it was tragic and romantic and I thought the hero was great in a dark brooding kind of way. The second time was not so good. I picked it up not realizing I had read it a long time ago and even though I realized it pretty early on, I kept reading it anyway. I wouldn't recommend doing that. It didn't hit me with any emotional impact at all. The sex scenes were the only reason I actully finished it.
Rating: Summary: It made me cry :( Review: The first time I read this book, it really touched my heart. For some wierd reason, only in some parts, I could relate to it. The guy was a jerk, but I fell in love with his forceful ways.
Rating: Summary: Definitely not PC Review: This book is an old fashion bodice ripper. I enjoyed it and it took me a day to read. Yes he is a totally Alpha male but she is strong and stands up to him. This is my favourite Karen Robards book. I think you will either love this book or hate it - no middle ground here!
Rating: Summary: SEEN BETTER, READ WORSE Review: This book was fine for a one-time read. the plot was interesting for the first time, but I wouldn't recommend it. The guy is jerk through-out the entire book. This is a book for checking out once in a library, not shelling out 5 or 6 bucks to get. The second I read it, it turned shallow and boring.
Rating: Summary: Not Bad Review: This book was okay. The hero was pretty much a jerk and I didn't like his relationship with the heroine especially with him being married. But for some reason I liked the book, although not enough to read again.
Rating: Summary: A Keeper!!! Review: This is one of my favorite novels. I read it years ago when it was first published and would never dream of parting with it. It has everything you could want in a Romance: love, passion, obsession, jealousy, heartbreak, and ultimately a fairytale ending.
Rating: Summary: LOVED IT !!! A MUST-BUY MASTERPIECE !!! Review: THIS IS ONE OF THE SADDEST AND BEAUTIFULLY-WRITTEN BOOKS I'VE EVER READ. LOVED THE HERO & HEROINE, THE DIALOGUES, THE STEAMY LOVE SCENES, AND MOST OF ALL, THE ACHINGLY TENDER ENDING. I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS TO YOUR COLLECTION.
Rating: Summary: Fast, hot, touching historical that's totally engrossing! Review: This story was/is terrific! I never expected how I'd fall in love with these two tragic characters who are so in love! And wonderfully surprising is that they admit their love for each other pretty early on, especially for Justin/hero who is then emotionally tormented and we so often don't really see a man tormented in love besides he's just broodingly/quietly upset! And the gigantic black moment when we truly think Megan/heroine cannot possibly forgive him for the tragedy that occurs (I won't give it away)- but Megan shows us that love really can forgive!
