Rating: Summary: My new favorite! Review: I haven't read all of Palmer's books yet, but I have read many, and this one is now at the top of the list. While it has many of the same ideas typical of her books - young virgin adores older man who has watched her grow up and won't let himself fall for her until she's in danger and then he realizes he can't live without her (whew!) - this one is Palmer at her best with all those details. Janie is a strong woman who wants Leo but won't trail after him like a lovesick pup. Leo fights his attraction to her but doesn't intentionally try to hurt her to drive her away. And they even *wait* until their wedding night, but there are several really hot scenes ahead of time that are also among the most tender I have read from Palmer. Terrific dialogue and intriguing secondary characters help to make this one a keeper!
Rating: Summary: Lionhearted Review: I read alot of these books and I have read several by this author. She is one of my favorites. I have to say this is the best one so far. It has the hottest love scenes, that I have every read. You will be so into the story that, like me, you will not want to put in down. I read the whole thing in one night. I had to stay up late to read it all but it was worth the lack of sleep. The next day I read it again. I highly recommend that you buy this book. Happy Reading.
Rating: Summary: Love hearted Review: Janie Brewster loved Leo Hart for a long time, just when Leo starts to notice Janie, her best friend Marilee wants him too. Marilee, told Janie to do all the wrong things. One tends to see this as being stupid on Janie's part, because she has known Leo for a long time, and she should have known better, but love is not the smartest emotion, and it does make the smartest of us stupid. But when Marilee tells lies about things Janie is says no one believes Marilee but Leo. Until a party, and than the feathers fly. When Leo sees he is wrong he lets his brothers set the wedding of the year for him and Janie.
Rating: Summary: I want to move to Texas! Review: Of all the novels concerning the Hart brothers of Texas, this one is the best yet! I wish a town really did exist with so many gorgeous men. I'de move there in a "heart" beat! I like this heroine better than some of the others in the Hart brother's series, because this one is not so needy. She knows how to take up for herself, even against Leo Hart. I especially liked that, in some of the sensual parts, she becomes the agressor, and turns him into mush! A lot of new characters were introduced in this book, which makes me glad we have not seen the last of the "Long Tall Texans" series, and lots of the characters from the origional series were mentioned again. I know some readers think she should follow some other story line, ie guy breaks the girls heart, girl gets physically injured, guys comes to the rescue. But as for me, I always know what to expect from Diana Palmer - a great read. I say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"!

Rating: Summary: One of the better ones. Review: Plot description on this book's Amazon[.com] page. One of the better stories in this series. Leo finally gets his, and about time! Janie is not weak and her character is strong. I like the way she goes and takes care of herself. I liked this story, it brought the series to a close in a nice positive way. Also, it looks like Ms. Palmer is setting up two new (?) guys, Judd Dunn and Cash Grier--both sound really interesting! The only problem is that the Judd Dunn story is coming out in hardcover first--and I stopped buying these books in hardcover.
Rating: Summary: Likable story Review: The last Hart bachelor is finally caught. This is the story of Leo Hart and Janie Brewester. I had been looking forward to this book for awhile, because I really enjoy Palmer's Hart brothers series. As in all of her books, Janie is a 21 year old virgin and Leo is like 34 or 35. She has no experience with men, and Leo doesn't even like her to begin with. But of course, that changes throughout the book. While this book may sound typical of Palmer, which it is, it was also somewhat different. Janie really was much more independent than some of the other heroines in Palmer's books. I really liked Janie in fact. And I don't recall reading one "Little One" endearments in the book at all which was great as that term really grates on me.Leo was definitely all male, and while he didn't want to fall in love with Janie, once he did, he made no effort to stop it. He even seemed to enjoy it. As is typical of Diana Palmer's books, there was a scene where Leo totally insults Janie, but instead of Janie just falling into his arms right away, she does actually fight it and make Leo sorry. I also really liked how there were a lot of extra characters mentioned that will probably be getting their own stories sooner or later, such as Judd Dunn and Christabel, and Cash Grier, and probably Harley. All in all, this was a good book. I think it is one of Diana's better more recent novels. I found the characters likable and not so annoying. The love scenes were very steamy too. A good ending to the Hart brothers books.
Rating: Summary: Getting Back on Track Review: This is more like it for Diana Palmer. The last couple of books have been, to me, a real wasted effort. I felt that Ms. Palmer was really selling her audience short by not lining up the story or building characters that you cared about. This was more like old style. Not all the way back, but a huge improvement. Also I did not notice any gaps in the story or minor contridications in editing that seemed to plague the last couple of books. I have read all of her books and the last few it has just been because I wanted to see what happens with the characters and I felt that she was just cranking out books without much thought. I guess after so many 187 page romance books, there is only so much you can do. I did enjoy this one though and did not feel short changed or confused at the end. And I am glad to see all the Hart boys married.
