Summary: Exciting, sweet love story.
Review: The first book I read of Hannah Howell's was "His Bonnie Bride," that book was terrible!! It was very trashy and I skipped to the end just so I wouldn't feel I totally wasted my money on the book. I was therefore apprehensive about the other book of hers I had purchased (this one).

I have to say, I was pleasantly suprised. This book was not only good, it was exciting and filled will adventure.

Revan was soooo sweet to Tess. He protected her and cherished her. Tess was also really neat. She had a quick tongue but was also sweet. I loved how she wanted to look pretty for Revan whenever she got the chance.

In short, if you do buy this book, you won't be disapointed. It is a sweet, adventurous love story that will leave you feeling happy you took the time to read it. Revan and Tess were such a cute couple!

Summary: Tess and Revan, the pros and cons
Review: This is the first book I've read of Hannah Howell. I was a bit iffy at first, but I'm glad I took a chance and read it. I'm an avid reader of Garwood, Quinn, Quick, McNaught, Dodd, and some of Brenda Joyce. Now, I've found another good author. The strong chemistry between Tess and Revan will definately keep you reading. The only thing that put me off was the fast paced relationship. I didn't really like the way they "got it on" not even half way up the story. But don't get me wrong, the love scenes were pretty good and the author kept it with meaning. (Personally, I hate books where they just make love period. I prefer books where there's a special reason behind their love making.)

Tess has a lot of Character and you wouldn't be disappointed with her. Though she makes the first move to their fast paced relationship, that's the only flaw I found in her character. Revan, is strong, honorable, and full of pride (the typical historical romance man). The only flaw in his character would be the inner-conflict the author set. Revan doesn't want to marry money and land because he is a mere knight, hence he didn't want to marry Tess (even though the made love almost every chapter). I would have prefered a deeper inner conflict. His family's wonderful, he's a knight, though he's not the heir he doesn't regret it...i find his position quite pleasant, yet he keeps this stupid "i don't wanna be seen as a money hungry wolf" act.

To sum it all up, I found the book quite enjoyable. If you enjoy any of the authors I've listed above, you'd probably like this book. It's not the BEST but it's pretty darn good.
