Summary: One Sexy Pirate
Review: My first book by L. Sands and I loved it! I didn't want to put it down. The characters were great. This story is written with humor, sex, excitement and some danger. It is very easy to read. I was hooked when I had my first laugh on about the second page. I highly recommend this story. If you like pirate stories you need to read this one. I will read more of her books.

Summary: A Fun Getaway !!!
Review: This is the first book by Lynsay Sands that I have read. It left me wanting to read her other books !!! She has a nice way of setting up her story and making her characters come alive. I liked the way she made Valoree a little less than the perfect lady, but so likeable. The crazy little situations that she gets into are hilarious. But Valoree handles them like a trooper and shows that she can handle herself just fine. I loved the funny twists in the story !!! Lynsay also makes the supporting players interesting. She really has a way with writing witty and quick dialogue. The story does not take itself too seriously but does take the reader on a cool journey. This is the perfect tale for anyone who has ever dreamed of love, friendship, loyalty, and daring adventure. I am looking forward to more.

Summary: Not as good as usual
Review: Usually I can't put Lyndsay Sands books down, but I don't have that problem with this one. I'm definitely not saying that the book is bad. It's very good. It's just not up to Lyndsay Sands usual work. Even so, I highly recommend this for a fun read!

Summary: A humorous pirate romance
Review: Valoree had to masquerade as her murdered brother and scourge the oceans as Captain Red. However due to new circumstances she no longer had to remain in command of his pirate band in a quest to regain his birthright. She had been named heir to Ainsley Castle but before she could become the owner of her estate she had to get married because no executer would ever hand over the estate to an unmarried PIRATE. So now Valoree becomes desperate to get married to a nobleman and become preganant....

Pirate romance with some funny moments. a sort of 'my fair lady' style where the uncouth, 'foul mouthed' pirate lady must be turned into a genteel ,soft spoken lady.

For more serious pirate romances i would suggest 'the Madien's Revenge.' But this one is okay.

Summary: very steamy, indeed!
Review: well, lynsay sands seems to be getting better and better. i'veread most of her books and each one is better than the next. the bestpart of this book was that the heroine was a strong, brave, andintelligent character. and the hero... well, they really don't makemen like him, do they? he was a great counterpart to the heroine.also strong, brave, and intelligent, but flawed enough to make him aperfert romantic hero. the story was fast-paced and exciting. thechemistry and love scenes between hero and heroine were steamy, romantic, and frequent enough to keep my interest. i love it when thehero and heroine can't keep their hands off each other. what makesthis one really good was that the heroine was very natural in hersexuality and not coy and stupid about it. the secondary characterswere also lively and enhanced the story/romance without becoming"clutter." but, what really makes this a five star romanceinstead of three or four is the humor! ms. sands writes just enoughfunny and witty dialogue/scenes to keep the story interesting andlively. i am not a fan of hand-wringing/maudlin stories, especiallywhen that is all they rely on to keep the story going. i cannot waitfor the next book!
