Rating: Summary: Great Book of Series.... Review: I read this book first of the series...I loved it so much that I bought the rest of the books and read them also before anything else..but yet I would like to read more in the series...I highly recommend them to anyone who likes the night and romance in one..really adds spice to ones life....
Rating: Summary: Vampires, Warlocks and Angels Review: I thought the book was ok, I really liked the mix of angels and warlocks along with the vampires. It makes it a lot more interesting to see various types of characters. The way that Neeley and Aidan fell in love after only 2 extremely brief encounters is just simply unbelievable. Aidan is a self-serving jerk who doesn't appreciate his gifted life or those in it who cares for him. Neeley was equally annoying. I have read the others in this series and recommend those highly however.
Rating: Summary: Forever all right ... Review: I thought this book was way too intricated for what the author was trying to get across. I barely made it through the book and thought Ms. Miller has written much better books.
Rating: Summary: Vampires, Warlocks and Angels Review: I was very disappointed after reading this book. The time-traveling vampires had me so intrigued, as did the back cover, that I jumped enthusiastically into FOREVER AND THE NIGHT. Unfortunately what I found there was trite, nothing new, and downright silly. The heroine Neely is ridiculous, and stupid. The plotline about the bad senator was ludicrous. Aidan is a pathetic protagonist. They fall in love immediately, gak, give me a break. A family of vamps with 2 little eerie girls a la Anne Rice, a warrior angel with such an original name, "Nemesis" oh lordy my eyes were rolling. Silly.Read the second one, FOR ALL ETERNITY - that was great! Five stars. Or read Christine Feehan's "DARK" series which draws you into its own reality and legend, you won't be able to stop reading those "DARK" books. Or find Charlaine Harris's "Dead Until Dark". Also superb.
Rating: Summary: Cliched, dull, not horror - not romance Review: I was very disappointed after reading this book. Rating: Summary: A good book. Review: If you like vampire stories, this is a must read. Very enjoyable, and hard to put the book down.
Rating: Summary: Vampire Romance at its BEST! Review: Linda Lael Miller has such a diverse collection it is hard to put her into one category. Her vampire series is (in my opinion) one of the best out there! Believe me - I do not like horror books but this story I promise you is all about romance! This story was not your typical vampire romance, nor was it your typical time-travel. One of my favorite parts of this series was how they were able to travel to various different time periods, I found that fascinating. Another thing about this book was that it actually made me feel the Season. It took place in Autumn and I truly felt that the author described the time and weather perfectly - so much so that it has stayed with me for quite some time! Neely Wallace was intelligent, beautiful in more ways that her outer appearance and funny. Very down to earth - not at all what you would expect for the girlfriend of a vampire. She was everything I want all heroines to be and then some! Aidan Tremayne - Ooh la la... he is sexy, he is stunning and he is a vampire. He is the ultimate "tortured" hero and the desperation that he feels is palpable! The connection between the two characters is amazing to read and the sacrifices he makes will bring tears to your eyes. This man is not evil - he is love everlasting! Maeve, Valerian, Dathan and all other creatures of the night bring this series full circle. (I told you I enjoyed series - this is no exception!) This story is so unique I can hardly explain it - it is not a "vampire" story that you would expect - it is a love story in the truest sense of the word! READ IT!
Rating: Summary: Good book but bad ending Review: My friend recommended this book to me, so I decided to read it. I really loved it but was disappointed in the ending. It was a good book despite the ending, so I still recommend it. Check out Miller's other books.
Rating: Summary: I always had a feeling angels and vampires truly existed Review: One of Linda Lael Miller's best books. I love the whole series. If you read nothing else this summer...
Rating: Summary: I liked this book so much that I BOUGHT the others. Review: This book had me spell bound from the beginning, so much so that I was upset when I found I was missing the second book in this series. Aidan's quest to become human again for the love of a female mortal who just happens to be running from her own demons--of sorts. I loved this book because of its vivid description of certain time periods and the costumes they wore and the quick action by Aidain. Actually, I thought that Lisette would show up a lot sooner than she did in the story, especially after finding out that Adian went to the brotherhood for help on his quest. This book was so good that I plan to read it a second time--after I finish the others in the series. I think they are definite keepers.
