Rating: Summary: will definitely hold your attention! Review: THIS TYPE OF STORY LINE IS COMPELLING.LOTS OF INTEREST.GLAD THAT MS. HOWARD SWITCH FROM WESTERN ROMANCE.BUT WOULD LIKE TO SEE A STORY LINE FOR JOHN MEDINA!
Rating: Summary: One SEXY hero! But the book was just TOO short!! Review: The only reason I gave this book a 9 was because the book was too short. I read fast and I like my books to be longer. I also wish LH had developed the characters just a little more because I could have read about that very sexy Marc forever. He was SMOOTH! Can't hardly wait for the next book--by the way, I like LH's books that are more mainstream fiction, plus I love the suspense WITH the romance!!
Rating: Summary: Pretty disappointing! Review: After reading her other books I guess I expected more and I was very disappointed. The characters were never fully developed and she focused on the supporting characters way too much. I read the reviews before I purchased the book but next I will pay more attention.
Rating: Summary: Definetly not good! Review: After reading "After the Night", "Dream Man" and even "Angel Creek", I was waiting this book to be a success. But the subject is only about the suspense. Not much about the couple. As one of the reviewers said below, John Medina's story looks like more promising than this one.
Rating: Summary: A superb piece of work full of rich suspense. Review: Kill and Tell is another example of Linda's masterful touch. Her romances, and her characters are always exciting and very real. Without a doubt, Linda Howard is one my favorite writers in all the world.
Rating: Summary: Not one of Linda Howard's best Review: Kill and Tell had two problems- the suspense and the romance. The suspense wasn't that surprising. I figured out why her father was killed early on. It was too obvious. The romance had even more problems. All I saw was lust. The characters did not have enough time in the book to fall in love. Linda Howard started out doing something I don't see often enough in romance. She had the hero where a condom. Then later in the book they decide they don't need protection. After knowing each other a few days I'm led to believe they know and love each other enough to make a baby. Give me a break! What really bothers me is that Linda Howard showed in Son of the Morning that she has great potential as a writer. That book was a very good suspense novel with interesting characters. I hope I see Linda Howard live up to that potential again.
Rating: Summary: A good read! Review: This is one of her best! I had heard it had received bad reviews, however, when I sat down to read it, I couldn't put it down. I've read it twice now. And I must say, Marc Chastain is one sexy character! Ignore the reviews and curl up in front of the fire with it, you won't be disappointed.
Rating: Summary: As usual, a great read from Linda Howard Review: Past reviews on Linda Howard's latest book Kill and Tell have been less than enthusiastic. I don't get it. This book is as good as any other Linda Howard offering I've read--and I've read them all. Just because she has written a different type of story, doesn't mean she hasn't written a good story. I thought the characters were well defined and the story absorbing. Keep it up Linda.
Rating: Summary: I agree with the reader from Palo Alto CA Review: One of her best.everything you want in a mysterie romance novel. murder ,intrigue, Romance, and most of all it keeps you in suspenses.good plot ect.ect.She (Miss Howard) bring home the fact that the Vietnam war is still Here and our brave young men are still suffering.and surviving.
Rating: Summary: In the great Linda Howard tradition Review: I am amazed at the negative reviews of this book I've seen posted here, and feel that someone (or two or three or more) should post alternate views so new readers won't get the wrong idea about this book. This is vintage Linda Howard. It's a story that is very character-driven, with a strong story to carry them. The characters are well-drawn, the story intriguing, and the sensuality is delicious. I really enjoyed this book.
