Summary: Fast-paced and Fun!
Review: "Hidden Star" is the first book in Nora Roberts' "Stars of Mithra" series and I found it highly entertaining. It kept my attention the whole way through and contained a very original storyline.
Bailey walks into Cade Parris' Private Investigator's office on a rainy day with quite a dilemma. She has no idea who she is and has a bag containing over a million dollars in cash, a gun, and a giant blue diamond. She hires Cade to find out who she is and what has happened to her, and their adventure begins there. Cade and Bailey find themselves immediately drawn to each other, and the whirlwind romance they share amidst the mayhem around them is sexy and fun. The story is well-written and does not take the path of a usual amnesia story.
If you enjoy innovative and fast-paced mystery/romance, this book will not disappoint. Despite the fact that it is a relatively short novel, the characters are well-developed and also very likeable. This book is just good, clean fun!

Summary: A suspenseful beginning to a great series
Review: Bailey couldn't remember anything, only the fear that consumed her. In deperation she went to a phone book and then to a Private Eye named Cade Paris. Cade Paris would help her as much as he could, but would it be enough?

This is a wonderfully written novel that is enjoyable and full of mystery. I couldn't put it down and then I couldn't wait to get my hands on the next one in the series. Nora Roberts is very talented and it shows.

Summary: interested enough to read the other 2...
Review: but maybe thats only because i happen to love nora roberts. for being a harlequin intimant moments, it was to be expected.....however, this story did have more potential (as most of them do, do they not??). falling in bed after 3 days is more believable than falling in love and popping the question after *three days!*...::smile

Summary: Another Heroine with Amnesia....
Review: Cade Parris is a private investigator. He's also handsome, single, AND super rich. (Aren't they all?) When a beautiful woman walks into his office seeking to hire him, to discover her true identity...Cade is intrigued. Instead of directing "Bailey" to the nearest medical clinic, he takes the case, determined to help her discover herself. (Rolls eyes).

I like Nora Roberts, and think she's an excellent writer, I just didn't care for the silly amnesia subplot. It just seemed a little...Icky. (Romance with someone who doesn't know who she is, seems distasteful somehow), Coupled with that, I found it unethical of Cade to become involved with a client.

Overall, I've read better Roberts books. This seemed a little contrived to me.

Review: I am a great fan of Nora Roberts and I have not found a book that I did not like yet. I was on edge most of the book wondering what was going to happen. she keeps me very interested and don't want to put it down. I can't wait for the other two to come out and I will read them too.

Summary: A fun read from one of the best.......
Review: I call books like these "potato chip" books. You just keep reading until the're done. It is short enough to read in a day and makes you feel good when your done. Even in a book of this duration Ms. Roberts draws her characters vividly. I will be anxious to meet the other two couples in the succeeding books.

Summary: Star Series is Wonderful. What a Great Read.
Review: I LOVE Nora Roberts books.

Bailey has amnesia and she hires Cade to help her find out about herself. With a pile of money,a gun, a diamond worth a lot, a mysterious lady and a man- this mystery/romance is worth the read.

I thought it was kind of ironic to have amnesia and hire an PI to find yourself. What a different twist to the typical amnesia romance story. Of course, that is why I Love Nora Roberts books so much, because they are not typical.

These three were no exception. The one complaint that I would have with these three is that the definately work better if you read them in order. This is very rarely the case with Nora Roberts series. Usually each book in a series can stand alone or be read out of order with little loss in clarity. However, this series seemed to build on each other.
