Rating: Summary: A Book Worth Buying, and Re-reading for Years to Come! Review: Caleb Ventress & Serenity Makepeace. Great characters. People that I would hang out with...if they were real :-)Caleb doesn't want to feel, because he has been hurt. Serenity is a strong woman, who feels, loves, and is a bit out of the ordinary. There are many twists and turns in their relationship, which is what gives us a reason to read the book, but they end up happy, together, and well. The secondary characters, those in Witts End, and Ventress Valley, are well put together and enhance the storyline. As with the majority of Jayne Ann Krentz/Amanda Quick books, the characters are off beat, the suspense is great, the romance is exceptional, and the story is worth your time. There is nothing like a Jayne Ann Krenz to sit down for a good read with. I especially like the fact that this work has an epiloge. Thanks, Ms. Krentz, for the book! Write more like this, please!

Rating: Summary: Curiouser and curiouser... Review: I enjoyed the read. The best parts were those little snippets of visions in the cove. Her jerk of an ex-boyfriend was not funny and not cute. He was annoying as hell and really could have been written differently. Serenity had the best end of the deal in her realtionship with Caleb. They were great together. The main problem I had was in her soft-hearted approach to her slime of an ex.
Rating: Summary: One of her best Review: I have read every book Jayne Ann Krentz has ever written--several times--and this is one of her best. She does strange and unusual characters especially well, and this book abounds with REALLY strange ones. But they are all endearing, even the strangest of them turn out to have their strong points, and the characters grow and change over the course of the novel. This one will make you laugh. It may also make you cry--just a little. Definitely a keeper.

Rating: Summary: One of Jayne Ann Krentz's bests! Review: I truly enjoy Ms. Krentz's books, and Hidden Talents is one of my favorites. The character development is great, the chemistry between Serenity and Caleb is wonderful, and who can resist the quirky, off-beat inhabitants of Witt's End? Pick this one up and see if you can find a bottle of "Ole Hogwash" (a Witt's End product) to drink while you read. Enjoy!ps - If you enjoyed this one, be sure to try Absolutely Positively, Trust Me and Deep Waters. You won't be disappointed!

Rating: Summary: Strange things happen when at one's wits' end Review: JAYNE KRENTZ did an excellent job with this mystery/romance thriller. I loved how she weaved the love story around the surprise death of a resident in Witt's End. How about the name of that town? Right away we should have known that some strange things were going to happen in a town with the name Witt's End. Basically, everyone in that small town were at their wits' end. The town was dying unless someone gave it a "shot in the arm": and, a shot it got, opening of a mail-order company for the products they offered. They say, opposites attrack. It sure was true in this book. Who would have expected the big-time businessman to fall for a strange lady of unconventional qualities from Witt's End. His doing so demonstrated that he too was at his wits' end for relationships. He gambled away his rich family inheritance for this free-spirited lady. In the process, he relives his childhood years and discovers he never was treated like a real member of the family and that his lost was really not a lost at all but it was a enlightment and a gain. The mysterious Witt's End held secrets of its own but when discovered one-at-a-time those secrets constructed a bond with that town that could not be ignored. Krentz, kept me interested right up to the end and I am sure you will be too.

Rating: Summary: An unHidden Talent of a writer. This book is great. Review: Ms. Krentz has an unhidden talent for projecting the emotions of men and women in all her books. From anticipation, anger, and frustration to passion, love, and happiness, this book has it all. Ms Krentz even projects how small town life and families (even non-blood related families) affect a person.
A Great work of Art.
