Summary: A "Keeper"!
Review: Katy Wade has a brother finishing high school. To support him, she has been the personal secretary to the Gilchrist family for almost a decade. At last she is ready to start her own business.

First she must lure Luke Gilchrist home to take over the Gilchrist empire. Not an easy task, since Luke holds a life long grudge against them. The Gilchrist empire will fall without him. Luke has the magic touch of how to make money. Once Katy lures Luke home to do his "family duty" she can get on with her own life.

Katy's attempts to bring Luke back succeeds more than anyone would have suspected. But Luke has plans of his own for this stubborn and loyal lady.

This is the BEST Modern Day Romance I have EVER read. A match of wits, love, and family loyalies. A wickedly wonderful tale.

Summary: I'll take this family man anyday!
Review: Krentz drew me into this book right from page one. I've read nearly all of her books and found the character development here outstanding. I could picture the people, faces and scenery as though I was a part of it.

Summary: I always enjoy JAK
Review: My favorite theme of the book is that our heroine's faith in the hero makes him watch out and care for his extended family, even though he wants nothing to do with them, he doesn't want to disappoint her either.

Summary: This was enjoyable.
Review: Not my favorite, but if you are Krentz fan, you will enjoy.

Summary: KRENTZ'S BEST!
Review: OF ALL KRENTZ'S BOOKS THIS ONE IS THE BEST. IN FACT, IT'S MY ALL TIME FAVORITE BOOK. IF YOU LIKE CONTEMPORARY, DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ONE. IT GETS NO BETTER THAN THIS

Summary: Finally a romance book that I didn't hate half way through!!
Review: The thing I liked best about this book was the fact that it didn't fall into the "misunderstanding trap" that SO many romance novels fall into. Many times this could have happened, but the two main characters were able to trust each other and TALK which rarely happens in alot of books that I read. This was a good story and it was fun to read. I look forward to other JAK books since this is my first.

Summary: One of the best JAK books if you ask me...
Review: This book has it all. The drama, the brooding hero, a dressed-in-black family topped with a typical fiesty heroine.

Together with JAK's time-proven skill, the reader will be treated to a wonderful romance with just the right touch of spirit and emotions. Prepare to enjoy this fantastic novel!

Summary: Funny & Sexy
Review: This book is in my JAK top 3. It has all the necessary elements I look for whenever I buy anything penned by this author...witty dialogue, sexy script, humorous secondary characters, a strong hero determined to make the heroine his, & a stubborn, quirky heroine who isn't so sure she wants the hero to succeed. In effect, this is JAK at her best...a must-buy for any of her fans.

Summary: BUY THIS BOOK!
Review: This book was excellent, and I have read anything Krentz puts out there. It's a great romantic story, but it wasn't the romance that hooked me so much as the characters. All of Krentz's characters are great; we all know someone who is just like one of them....but in this book, it was the DOG that stole my heart. A pesto-eating creature that carries his dish in his mouth at all times! And I think you'll love Katy and Luke and the witch coven family. I can't say a lot more because I wouldn't want to give the story away. It's well worth the trouble it may take to find it, that's for sure.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Business man
Review: This is a good book to read anywhere, you will have a good time reading it and may be you wouldn't be able to put the book down, the story of Katy Wade is a little bit out of reality, it happens everything to her and she still is an optimist, in the other hand if that is possible is a very good skill.
The story of Luke is completely real, he returned to the family for her, not for the money that he didn't needed and of course with a grandma like Justine, nobody will return to her.
Is a little repetitive the words just like a Gilchrist, but is part of the book. At the end you will expect somehow that end, maybe with any modification in your mind, but you will imagine that end since three quarters of the book.
