Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Disappointed
Review: Just wanted to balance the 'perfect' and 'awesome' reviews that led me to buy this book - I've read the author before and like her writing, but found this one very disappointing - could not follow the plot and kept skipping large sections, found some of the adjectives silly (creamy skin and bulging thighs) but a careless editing problem (a publisher's problem rather than author's) where the heroine's name on back cover blurb does not match the name in book forced me to put in this review.

It's an acceptable book, maybe even a good book to readers, but not even close to the perfect rating - sorry, but spent my money and had unmet expectations. Just needed to say it.

Summary: Stunning intensity - Very highly recommended
Review: Only ten thieves in the world have the skills CIA agent Sam Tremaine needs. Only one regularly targets Oppenheimer, to the extent he has to buy an insurance agency in order to cover his own losses. Sam may not know the beautiful thief's agenda, but he is willing to do whatever it takes to bring down the international criminal Oppensheimer, even if he has to hire a thief.

Juliette Morris has a plan to deprive Oppenheimer of all his treasures before fulfilling her ultimate goal of revenge. Sam's interference and identification of her only detours her plan, but nothing will make her give it up. When Sam kidnaps Juliette's grandmother to assure cooperation, the stakes escalate. Worse, both she and Sam are aware of the impossible nature of their attraction, yet denying it seems to only add fuel to the flames.

An eloquent and fabulously realized romantic intrigue, ENTRAPMENT belongs on the reader's keeper shelf. Once again Kylie Brant brings her characteristic flair for creating memorable characters and a fast paced plot, as complex ethical issues lend a background of suspense and emotional depth that has become the author's trademark. Juliette takes pride in her unorthodox profession, financing her vendetta with stolen goods that are taken from her ultimate target. Sam's recent leg injury lends him just the right level of vulnerability to highlight Juliette's extraordinary strengths. If ever opposites attracted in an unorthodox mix readers will adore, it is here! ENTRAPMENT comes very highly recommended.

Summary: Awesome book
Review: Sam Tremaine was a CIA agent with a secret mission. However, to accomplish his goal he needed someone with special, illegal skills. For months Sam tracked his target, Juliette Morris, until he knew all he could find out about her. Then he made contact during the consulate party.

Juliette was bent on revenge, ten years in the making. The end was in sight! Then Sam cut-in during one of her dances and began his blackmail. He knew her secret identity and planned to use it to gain her help in catching an international criminal. Worse, she found herself falling for him. ...This is the second Tremaine sibling (out of four). I found it to be even better than the first. Sam and Juliette are very much alike and very dangerous to their enemies. They make quite a team!

Author Kylie Brant gave brief cameos to characters from "ALIAS SMITH & JONES" (the first sibling's story), as well as, to Cade who will be the hero in the next Tremaine story titled ""TRUTH OR LIES" (Aug. 03). Therefore, fans of Kylie Brant will feel as if they are a part of this awesome family. This story could not have been more exciting! Highly recommended!

Summary: A wonderful read
Review: This book is nearly perfect. The hero is handsome and sexy--of course, but he's also mysterious and has real attitude. Of course, so does Juliette which makes for great conflict and a very believable solution.

I loved this book. I loved the edge and the breath-taking suspense and the great talent Ms. Brant shows in the fast paced thriller.
