Rating: Summary: A Page Turner! Review: This is the first book that I have read by this author and I must say I was happy with her book. You are introduced to a very strong woman by the name of Madison Reed and all she went through after the death of her husband. Madison was definitely a one of a kind woman. I would recommend you buy this book as soon as possible.

Rating: Summary: Excellent Book Well Written Review: This was a fast paced read. How many of you could raise your husband's infant after his death as well as the death of his mistress. Not only raise the child but then to deal with all of the secrets that come out. This was a very realistic and honest read. Pick this one up well worth the money.
Rating: Summary: DO YOU KNOW WHO HOLDS YOUR TOMORROW? Review: This was a great read. I wanted to give the book 5 stars but I started to get really annoyed because the mistakes in the book. I also couldn't give it 5 stars because I couldn't belive that Madison hooked up with Zachary so quick. The book is about Madison, a talk show host and her husband Wes, an anchorman. They are Americas hottest couple and evryone thinks that they have the perfect, ideal, picture book marriage. In reality their marriage is suffering. Madison doesn't realize how bad her marriage is until her husband was in a horrible car accident when he was helping a lady change her tire on the side of the street. While Wes is in his death bed he tells Madison a secret that will forever change her life. The book is really worth reading because Francis Ray does a great job of making you feel like you are in Madison's shoes. I commend Mrs. Ray for writing a book that deals with celebrity marriages because it made me realize that they aren't perfect and they have problems like many other couples.

Rating: Summary: Secrets, secrets and more secrets! Review: To those who didn't know Madison Reed personally, they would have thought she had it all. She had a successful career as a talk show host. Her husband, Wes, was a TV news correspondent who was on his way to the top. In public, they exhibited pure marital bliss, but behind closed doors, they barely spoke. Madison felt incomplete after losing their baby and shut down all emotions. Wes took solace in the arms of another woman. Unfortunately for Madison, she found this out after Wes is involved in a fatal car accident that kills both him and his mistress. Two people are left to fend for themselves; Madison and the love child of Wes and the mystery woman. The clincher - Wes wants her to raise his child. Zachery, Wes' best friend, is the solid rock that helps Madison endure thru this hard moment in her life; dealing with her rude in-laws and the piercing speculation of the media. He too is keeping hurtful secrets that he fears will cause Madison to mistrust his intentions. Mrs. Ray explores the pain and misery associated with death and the painful secrets that eventually come to light. She also shows how her characters overcome the pain to come out on top. She takes the reader thru every emotion imaginable! A must read!!!
Rating: Summary: Definitely one of the better books I've read this year Review: Very enjoyable story that tugged at the heartstrings. There's nothing like a gurgling infant to make one believe the world must go on, no matter what you're feeling in your heart. The story was well-written, but did contain some errors and typos that I found frustrating. In an emotional moment, Madison tells Wes that he doesn't know what love "it," which jarred me out of the story. Most unfortunate was the use of "God" with a lower case "G." Early on in the book, I think on page 2, Madison was taking a shower and Wes knocked on the door. With no mention of him moving away from her, on the next page Wes is suddenly crossing the room to stand a foot away from Madison (?#). This made me say, "Oh no, not another badly edited African-American book," but I'm glad I kept reading, for soon I was engrossed in the story. This book started off very real, but the author's romance roots did become evident, especially in the ending. I'm not really a romance fan, and here two secondary romances are included, a May-December relationship that had the cynic in me wondering why the girl's mother didn't go after the man herself instead of encouraging it (I certainly wouldn't want *my* daughter marrying someone old enough to be her father), which is featured rather prominently, the other mercifully only peeked at. Fortunately, the use of those flowery romance terms like "manhood" and "womanhood" I find so silly were used minimally. All the romances, including the main one, moved a little too quickly for my taste in a story with so much initial grit. This will probably please Ms. Ray's romance readers, and while I didn't particularly care for this aspect I'm sure this book will bring her new fans. I know I'll be looking for her next work of women's fiction.
Rating: Summary: Excellent (as always) Review: Very well written. I have always enjoyed Ms. Rays novels, she is an excellent writer and she has a way of keeping your nose in her books. This particular book was really good because it was so true to life, and I really liked the questionaire in the back of the book. This story holds all of the components to make a "best seller". Hats off to you again Ms. Ray...
