Rating: Summary: if you like lots of steamy scenes...read Review: An okay read, it's about a girl that stows away on an earl's yacht (Beau St. John) to escape her life as governess to spoiled brats and make a living in Italy as a painter, and ends up falling for the earl in the process. Anyways, I was disappointed that Serena gave herself to Beau so fast, maybe it was all the alcohol she was consuming beforehand?? She didn't seem to have spirit..she tries but always melts when Beau gives her the charm..And it seemed like she was always giving in to Beau as well. She was always getting annoyed at his past, and the previous women he'd "had", like she didn't know about it beforehand, which she did! She was just jealous.. Also, I was pretty annoyed with Beau's character and his attitude toward love and women. We find out that he does care for Serena, but he's too afraid to admit it? Anyways, he leaves her after dropping her off in Florence..both of them "knowing" that this affair was only temporary. There is one instance where they talk about marriage, and he is desparate to have her still that he'd agree if he can still have his side activities..I guess afraid of not being able to have fun still?Well, after he leaves Florence he tries to forget about Serena by fooling around with other women, drinking, etc but of course it doesn't work because he's fallen for her. When he does come back to Florence for Serena, she's been kidnapped by French officers for..you can guess why.. and the way he tries to win her back is just awful. To me, these characters didn't have any outstanding qualities and just seemed too immature. But, if you just want to read something for fun and don't care read this book.
Rating: Summary: Johnson's Hot Again Review: Continuation of Sinful with Sinjun's and Chelsea's arrogant,
slutishious son faced with a spirited, independent, sassy,
hot girl. Venture into Johnson's hot sex and passionate
story!!!!
Rating: Summary: Very Wicked Indeed!! Review: Dear readers, this was the book that did it for me. This was the book that had me running mad all over the place looking for any Susan Johnson book that I could possibly find, so that I could devour them! I was so fascinated that I could not even borrow her books from the library. I had to buy them! This book about Beau and Serena was so darn delicious that I read it twice! Serena, A servant, stowed away on Beau's yacht , and Beau who is A very naughty boy was A very happy man indeed! This book had everything you would want in A novel. A sweet and impulsive heroine, A hero who is so darn sexy, you'll wish he was real, an interesting story line, and HOT, HOT, sex!! Just take A gander at the cover of the book, and you'll get an idea what your in for. Don't get me wrong, this book is not all about sex. I hate it when critics call Susan Johnson books erotica's. She is so much more talented than that. Whenever I read one of her books, I become so engrossed that I forget all of my problems for A day or two. I laugh, I cry, I can feel the love that the heroes and heroines have for each other. She captures the emotions and essence of each and every one of her characters perfectly. You will never forget one of Susan Johnson's novels. So, if your looking for A novels with A little bit of everything, try Wicked. Get A taste of how A women can first capture A man's body, and then his heart.

Rating: Summary: More story, less sex! Review: Explicit sex does not a good story make!
This book reminds me of a skin flick--some very steamy
sex scenes loosely tied together by a very flimsy
attempt at a plot. If you want true romance with
main characters you can care about, this is not the book
for you. (The one shining jewel about this book is the
cover! :>)

Rating: Summary: The kind of romance women really want without the fluff... Review: Great book! A much more realistic approach to romance than, "Oh, my dearest love...blah, blah, blah." When I pick up a romance novel, I want some heat, not a bunch of flowery words and a man chasing a woman who pretends she doesn't want to be caught. Everybody loses the pomp and circumstance when it's time to get to it - we just don't admit it...Bravo, Ms. Johnson, for showing that woman are just as primal as men - and we enjoy it just as much!
Rating: Summary: Wicked Review: I cannot resist a Susan Johnson book especially the older ones. She has a very distinctive way of writing and I love the history Ms. Johnson usually brings with her books and this is no exception...
Rating: Summary: HOT!!HOT!!HOT Review: I couldn't put it down!!!After you read this book you will know why the title is "WICKED" and why the main character is called "GLORY". If only there were more men in the world like this character we would all be satisfied women. It is a true love story, you will laugh and cry!!
Rating: Summary: Hot but not romantic. Review: I enjoyed Wicked only due to some of the erotic love making scenes. That's it. It is because of heroes like Beau St Jules that the the term 'male chauvinist pig' has been coined. Inspite of being REPEATEDLY unfaithful to the heroine, he was always getting jealous even if she spoke to another guy! Susan Johnson can write a good erotic romance as evinced in Brazen and Forbidden, where the heroes (inspite of being male sl*ts) were redeemable and lovable. Susan Johnson went so over the top with her description of Beau being the biggest rake in England that I have a hard time imagining Beau being faithful to Serena afer their marriage...
Rating: Summary: How can anyone read this drival....????? Review: I have never, NEVER given a book a lower rating then a three, but there's a first time for everything and this is it! I was terribly disappointed in Ms. Johnson, since I loved her "Braddock-Black" books, how can someone who wrote those wonderful books, write this fluff????? Oh, it started out okay, Serena's situation and why she had to leave her position as governess was believable. Beau seemed like the typical flawed, warm-heart under a cold, seductive shield type. I muddled through it till Serena got on the ship, and they jumped right, and I mean RIGHT into bed. Then, after another 10 pages or so of nothing but sex, and unimportant talk, and that whole cake scene, I just gave up. Other books I've read, where the characters jump almost immediatly into bed, had more substance and logic this this bad, terrible, horrible collection of pages and words. Oh, please don't waste your time or money.
Rating: Summary: Very hot, very sexy, a true erotic romance. I loved it. Review: I love all Susan Johnson novels and this one was very hot and very sexy
