Rating: Summary: Loved it Review: Can't say it enough - I just love Rosemary Roger's style. Maybe it's the sexy brooding type that I find so appealing in Nick Kincade and Steve Morgan (Sweet Savage Love). This book though was a bit too close in story, character, etc. to Sweet Savage Love - my only complaint. I'm glad though the promiscuity was dramatically lessened. I'm a true romantic at heart, and yes I do believe that Nick Kincade fell in love with Tory, regardless of his cold, "jerk-ish" ways. I wish Rosemary Rogers would write more books. I've tried other authors, but I can't get into the corniness of some of the books. I do enjoy Lisa Kleypas, but thus far, my favorites are still Sweet Savage Love and A Dangerous Man by Rosemary Rogers. Write another one!
Rating: Summary: Pretty good boOk Review: I had read a few of Rogers' books, and i especially took an interest to "Sweet Savage Love." The characters were so likeable and the story was captivating. I found "A Dangerous Man" to be very similiar... perhaps too similar. The characters resembled each other, especially the leading men. Rogers repeated the gypsy dancing theme (it was a little annoying) and she threw in her infamous rape scenes. However, I found "A Dangerous Man" and the characters and their love for each other to be a bit mroe believeable and their final unite was not as annoying to get to as "Sweet Savage Love". The ending of "A Dangerous Man" did lack a little more passion than I was hoping for. But overall, it was a good book. The beginning is a little boring, but keep reading. It does get much better.
Rating: Summary: ONE OF HER BEST BOOKS! Review: I just read it again, and it's even better than the first time. I am a Rosemary Rodgers fan from a long time, and even though Sweet Savage Love is my very favorite, I like all her other books, too. Some more than others. I love A Dangeorous Man almost as much as I do Steve and Ginnie, and that is sahing a lot! GREAT BOOK!
Rating: Summary: One of my "keepers" Review: I often share books with friends but this is one that I keep for myself to go back to from time to time. I won't reiterate what all of the other reviewers said. I will only say this, I have a hard time finding other writers who can compare to Rosemary Rogers when she creates such a level of passion and tension among the main characters (at times borderline hateful)yet it is done in a way that you almost jump up and say, "Yes!! Finally!!" at the end of the book even though her endings are never sappy-sweet. I admit that some of RR's books are hit or miss. Either you love 'em or hate 'em but mostly I end up loving them. When I see her name on a cover, I have to make sure I have a long stretch of time ahead of me before picking up the book because I can never seem to put the book down despite having pressing real-life responsibilities to attend to. Rosemary Rogers is in a class of her own. They just do not make books like hers these days.
Rating: Summary: Enjoyable Review: I really enjoyed this book. It kept me turning the pages well into the night, even after my husband had to tell me to turn out the lights... NOW!... It all worked out, the very next day he came home with a book light for me. Nevertheless, I especially enjoyed the ending. I won't spoil it for future readers... I hope they read it for themselves.
Rating: Summary: Not on par with other Rogers novels Review: I was very disappointed with this novel. I've read & enjoyed many Rosemary Rogers novels before, but this one was boring from the first few pages. I had to force myself to finish it. The plot was basically a re-tread of scenes from her prior novels, and none of the characters were particularly likeable or involving. Nothing new or fresh here.

Rating: Summary: Romance at its best. Review: She has really done it this time. I read this book at the beach and the lifeguard's must have thought I was a nut because I was crying. Pure entertainment and mighty racy! I had to read a couple of parts over. I wish more writers put as much heart into their stories.
Rating: Summary: Loved it Review: the ending left me unsatisfied. It's one thing to say this & that happened. But it's another to CONVINCE me of it. Maybe it's because I was never fully convinced that Nicky could love Tory (I wanted him to feel that earth shattering love). I thought this was more one sided; on Tory's part. Even at the end, he was attending a ball with another woman! I prefer a hero who CONVINCINGLY changes his ways. Why couldn't he fall in love with her first? She was doing all the heart wrenching stuff. Near the end, she hung around for months waiting for him (not that he made any promises to her or gave her ANY indication of a future or even a future meeting! ) and he didn't even acknowledge her during that time! It's hard to admire a woman who doesn't think she deserves better than that. Don't get me wrong, a few words here and there at the last few chapters and I would have given it 4 or 5 stars.
