Rating: Summary: Breath taking... Review: Each story fills your heart and leave you wanting more. I enjoyed each story but my favorite was "Far From Home" by Rochelle Alers. I look forward to reading more by these great authors. Be Blessed.
Rating: Summary: Too Obvious Review: I found all of the plots too obvious. There was no mystery to any of the stories and none of the plots had any imagination. I was very displeased with the complete novel.
Rating: Summary: Good stuff Review: I'm getting more into the four author thing that has been going on lately. I really enjoyed the stories. It was one that I didn't really like, but the other three were great. I have to say that they draw a detailed view of Jamaica, that you wish you were there. This will be a good read for anybody.
Rating: Summary: Island Magic toasts away the winter chill Review: Island Magic was just what I thought it would be. All four stories were wonderful.Felicia Mason's story was about a young woman looking for a little fling when she fell in love unexpectedly with an older man. Eventhough this story was short, Ms. Mason told you enough about the characters to form a solid opinion of them. Shirley Hailstock's story was one of my favorites. I wouldn't mind sharing a house or condo with a gorgeous man. Her character had some serious decisions to make regarding marrying a disabled man. She didn't think she would come to the Island off of Hawaii and fall in love with her housemate. Ms. King-Gamble's story brought some mystery. It was well written. A girl was betrayed by her soon-to-be husband. After she broke up with him, she decided she would take their honeymoon anyway. She met the hero on the island and didn't know he lived in America as a cartoonist. She thought he was just a jack of all trades on the island. I immediately thought "Don't judge a book by its cover". Lastly, but definetely not least Ms. Alers story. I loved this story. A 47 year old woman found the love of her life by taking an Island vacation. I loved the way the Senator swept her off her feet. She was always taking care of her children and even her ex-husband. Now she was going to take a chance at love again. All these stories were wonderful, but what else would you expect from these seasoned authors. Keep them coming ladies!
Rating: Summary: A Magical Read it is! Review: ISLAND MAGIC, set in some of the most exotic and romantic places in the world, it was just as I expected it to be, coming from some of the most recognized Diva's of romance writing, this novel gives you hours of fantasy, romance, pleasure, and begging for more. I've come to expect nothing less from these wonderful writers (Rochelle Alers,Shirley Hailstock,Marcia King-Gamble,Felicia Mason), and look forward to many more hours romance. Wonderful Job! Betty
