Summary: Good book!
Review: Another book by Kasey Michaels that is hilarious. The character of Jack is well developed, and the hilarity that ensues is not only funny but also believable. I enjoyed the second book of the Trehan brothers better, but this one was good!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great Book!
Review: Completely unfocused, zero romantic chemistry (when the hero and heroine got together I couldn't understand why. I reread the opening chapters of the book and it became clear that it was the heroine's endless nagging and the hero's non-personality that got them together), ditto for romantic tension, cliched, formulaic and extremely amateurish when compared with Ms. Michael's "Then Comes Marriage," which was fun, had a lot of clever dialogue and great secondary characters.

Summary: Great Book!
Review: It was awesome! It was cute and funny! Babies and Baseball what else do you need?! The next one was even better!

Summary: Hit or Miss
Review: Kasey Michaels books are often hit or miss....and this one I'm sorry to say is a MISS. Why? Well, you know it's supposed to be a comedy because that's what Michaels writes. But here the comedy is forced and frantic. All the characters from Cecily to Keely to Aunt Sadie all have verbal diarrhea: they run on and on and on at the mouth. What could have been a funny little monologue ends up being a long and tedious rant that runs out of steam before it finishes. The story is meant to be a farce but the reader feels manipulated. One of the only Kasey Michaels' books I enjoyed years ago was Can't Take my Eyes Off You. That was a cute, funny and romantic book. I keep giving her a "second chance" but she keeps letting me down. Sorry to be so negative but if your time is limited (like mine is) and you want to read only excellent romantic comedies, choose something by authors like Jennifer Crusie, Julia Quinn or Susan Elizabeth Phillips. Your time will be better spent.

Summary: ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS!!!!!
Review: The hero and heroine of Love to Love You, Baby make this story really engaging because they're so true to life and yet just a little off-center. Each has been washed up in their career of choice and is searching for the next thing. They're frustrated, frustrating (to each other) and just plain mixed up. Spending time with them and the adorable baby who accidentally lands in the hero's lap, as well as the daffy extended cast of characters, makes for a romance of sheer escapist fun. There are some slow spots in the middle, and some events seem forced for humor rather than enhancing the story, but overall, this is a good bet for a laugh and a few hours away from your own frustrations. It's not quite as good as Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You, but much better than Ms. Michaels' last effort. Give it a try.

Summary: Once again glad i don't put merit into bad reviews
Review: This book was adorable. I love how Kasey Michaels fills her book with wacky and fun loving characters. Sometimes her romance seems to take a backseat, but with everything else going on it doesn't take away from the book. There are several parts of this book I laughed out loud while reading. If you love fun books you will love this. I can't wait to read Jack's brother Tim's story!

Summary: An Average Read...
Review: This title was my first experience with Kasey Michael's work. After finishing the book, I can report that I am neither dying to read another title by her or ready to put her name of a list of authors to never deal with again. This book was quite average. I enjoyed the characters and the inclusion of baseball, especially the quotes from actual baseball players that kicked off each chapter. I felt that somewhere in the last third of the book the plot started to drag and Ms. Michaels made it last longer than it should have. This portion of the story seemed forced and unlike the rest of the book.

I also will note that the first few pages of this book include a phone exchange between Jack and his cousin. This conversation nearly made me quit reading because the cousin is highly annoying during this particular conversation, but thankfully it ended after only a few pages. Do not let this conversation make you stop reading!

My library only owns the large print version of this book and I found several errors within this particular version. In random places there were quotation marks obviously missing and in one case I found Jack's name written as jack...doesn't it seem like someone would consider proofreading their text before sending it to be published? Of course this does not affect the story, but it is distracting at times...

This book is a good lazy day read, especially now with Spring Training just around the corner! I don't think you'll be sorry if you read it, but it's not one that I would recommend paying full price for.
