Rating: Summary: What a pleasant surprise. Review: After reading Bone Cold, I thought no book could make me happier since it covered one of my favorite topics.. but of course, I cannot say what it is in case you plan to read it because then I would spoil the book for you.
Right, okay. I started reading this book the night I bought it, as I usually do, when everyones sleeping. I was drawn into the story, captivated if you will, after just reading the first sentence. I read that little prologue/first chapter thingy about ten times, before I went on to the rest of the story. I am still amazed by it. It was so terrifying, so scary that I just couldnt stop reading the beginning.
of course, I was able to go past it and read the book, which was also amazing. which is why I'm writing this review, telling you to go read In Silence.
but seriously. I'd recommend this book, even if just for the beginning.
Rating: Summary: I'm impressed! Review: I bought this book in a whim--thinking I'd just give this author a try --boy am I glad I did. It was a true suspence novel with a little bit of romance and a truly shocking ending. Now I have read 3 of her books( Silence, Bone Cold and All Fall Down) and starting my fourth ( Cause for Alarm).
Rating: Summary: Thrilling Drama with a twist!! Review: I have all of Erica Spindler's books, because she always surprises me. They are tightly plotted and full of unexpected twists. IN SILENCE is no exception. When Avery Chauvin returns home after several years, it is to face the death of her father. Avery is a reporter. She comes home and immediately gets involved with the friends she left behind. Including two brothers, one a cop, like his dad, and the other a lawyer, trying to put his life back together. Cypress Springs, Lousianna is a small town, that faces all the small town problems, as well as, some big town problems. There is a great deal of tension in the family of her friends. Especially between the brothers. Suddenly, this small town has had a rash of unusual, unexplained, deaths. Alot of people have died, either in weird accidents, or some have just gone missing, Or like Avery's father, committed suicide. The feeling of a tightly closed community comes through clearly. And now Avery is on the outside. She tries to understand what is happening. But her conclusions not only scare her, but put her on a direct course to confront true evil of the mind. This is a gripping story, and anyone who has lived in a small community can understand the terror of knowing someone you know is capable of true horror. The terror and fast pace of the story kept me glued to my chair. I read it in one sitting. This is an exciting and unusual book.

Rating: Summary: One of her best! Review: I have read all of Erica Spindler's books. This one may have replaced Bone Cold as my favorite. A definite summer read! A page turner that took less than 2 days to finish! J
Rating: Summary: Soap Opera Review: Ms Spindelr has done it again. From beginning to end, I was totally enthralled with this novel. What a creepy premise. Small town America at it's devilish best. I highly recommend this hard to put down novel. It'll keep you guessing.
Rating: Summary: Good Job Review: This book is an easy read that keeps you turning those pages. With twists and turns that keeps you guessing to the very end, In Silence is an enjoyable read that gives you goosebumps at times. It also makes you think about the power of events in our lives and how they can shape who we become. Touching on vigilante justice and small town politics, this book sparks controversial discussion on real issues facing North Americans.
Rating: Summary: Great Thriller Review: This is a great thriller, with lots of plot twists. This writer keeps getting better and better. This plot involves alot of psychology, not just of the predator but everyone involved with the story. Fast paced and an exciting end. Highly recommend.
Rating: Summary: Another great one by Erica Review: This was a fast paced, exciting read. Avery's character was strong and pursuant. Loved it!!!
Rating: Summary: Good Job Review: Typical Erica Spindler in that it was an interesting, fast-paced novel. Untypical Erica Spindler in that it was easy to figure out the culprit very early in the book. Still worth the time and money.
