Summary: One Short Wish...
Review: "She was the only child of a rich and powerful rancher."

"He was the son of a drunken ne'er-do-well."

Your almost modern Romeo and Juliet, huh?

I must admit, I consumed this book within about 1 day. It kept me very enthralled, I found myself turning one page after another after another...

This book is a very good, "nonsense" book. Very good for vacations or just a book you might want to read in the bath tub or while relaxing. It's not like reading "Wuthering Heights" or decoding Shakespeare. It's a total relaxation book...

Summary: One Wish
Review: A very good read. I enjoyed the characters Luke and Charity and how they grew up and reunited as adults. I did note some important elements to the story that didn't flow. for example, their first love scene, it didn't say when he undressed, or when and how she first fell in love with him. The story of the secondary character Raoul is a book on its own. He sounds like a great guy and I would like to see a story about him. Overall, I love the father daughter love/hate relationship, I love the character Genesis who was saved from a life of prostitution, and Blaise the wonderful stepmother. Great story overall, a must read.

Summary: Wonderfully created
Review: I bought this work after I ended my work shirt at 8 at night. When i started to read it I couldn't put it down. By 5 am the next morning i was down reading the book. This book is full of life, romance, passion and innocence. You actually feel as if you been transported to the washington territory and our there witnissing everything. I've read this book 7 times already sice I bought it and i never get tired of reading it. This book has given me courage and hope to believe in love again. I can actually say that i have even myself fallen in love with Luke myself.

Summary: Okay, but kinda long
Review: I enjoy Linda Lael Miller, but this one wasn't one of my favorites. I've read many of her books that are in series format, and prefer it to this. The story was nice, and the ending had a bit of a twist. It pretty much is as the synopsis describes.

Summary: My favorite Miller!
Review: I just adore this book! I have worn out one copy already, and am working on the second. Charity and Luke are characters that I can really care about, and I get caught up in the struggles they face to be together against all odds. There is a minor secondary story, of Molly and Raoul, that I wish would be explored in depth in a follow-up novel.

Summary: Sooooo Sweet
Review: I just finished reading this book about 5 minutes ago and i loved it! i mean i laid in bed thinking i will just read a chapter and then go to bed pretty soon 10 hours had gone by and i had read the whole book. it keeps your attention. Charity is sooo stubborn and wonderful! And Luke is one of those charaters that you just fall in love with and makes you want a guy like that.. This is on my top favorite books list.

Summary: A Nice Little Tale!
Review: I just read this novel, and I had a great time reading it, although I was disappointed with its main focus. The story's plot was scattered from Luke and Charity's relationship to Jonah's condition to Vance's mischief to secrets hidden from the past... I'm not saying that I disliked the book; I just would have liked to hear more romance concerning Luke and Charity. I was also kind of turned off by the love scenes, because they were so overdramatic when told from Charity's point of view. "Stars, moons, universes colliding" is not usually my perception of sexual intimacy--but hey, maybe Luke was an even more exceptional guy than I thought!
