Rating: Summary: ...humorous, blazingly sensual, and emotionally intense... Review: A handyman as the romantic lead? Not the average hero's occupation to be sure, but then Lori Foster isn't your average writer, and so the ordinary becomes extraordinary, a Buckhorn brother...Gabe. My initial assessment of Gabe pretty much matched Elizabeth's. Used to more than his share of fawning female attention, Gabe's pique at Elizabeth's purely scientific interest in him for her project, as well as his unflattering thoughts regarding her appearance, caused him to appear conceited and spoiled. However, my judgment of him quickly changed as I watched Gabe's total fascination with her in spite of himself. Elizabeth challenges, excites, and frustrates him, physically and mentally. The reader plainly sees that Gabe is smitten, and as he falls in love with her, his image of Elizabeth changes as well. Elizabeth becomes beautiful in his eyes, and this makes him very appealing. Still, the most endearing -- and surprising -- aspect of Gabe's character is his own hidden insecurity, which he reveals to Elizabeth. At times humorous, blazingly sensual, and emotionally intense, GABE is sure to captivate readers from the first glimpse of his tanned, muscled chest in the beginning, to the warm and witty ending where we are treated to a premonition of things to come for the last Buckhorn brother, JORDAN,coming next month...
Rating: Summary: WOWWWWWWWWWWWWW!! YOU WILL LOVE THIS ONE!!!! Review: All I can say about this book is plan on not putting it down, Gabe is adorable and what a hunk!! This is such a touching love story in that Gabe falls for a woman who does not look like a model. She becomes beautiful to him after he gets to know her. I would advise putting on a pot of coffee, relax, and enjoy a wonderful romance!
Rating: Summary: ...downright steamy! Review: As always, Lori gave us three-dimensional characters with rich emotions, very real backgrounds and believable inner conflicts. I won't give away Elizabeth's, but it's a doozy! And, as always, the interaction between the hero and heroine is downright steamy! Do yourself a favor and grab a copy of GABE before they're all gone, then do your best to grab SAWYER and MORGAN too. You won't want to miss any of them. (Watch for JORDAN next month.) Rating: Summary: LOVED THIS BOOK! Review: Beach Bum of my dreams...Gabe has my dream lifestyle--lazing around near the water and working only when *he* wants to work. Lizzy Parks has something closer to what my life is really like--intent on her quest. Witnessing these two come together, clash, and finally combine is like watching the Fourth of July up close!Lori Foster scores big on this one. I've come to expect fun and sexy reads, and she definitely doesn't disappoint with this one. It's amazing how intense she can make a story by just putting two people together and letting the chemistry happen. Don't read this one in the bathtub--read it in the swimming pool, because you don't need hot water for things to heat up as long as you've got Gabe!

Rating: Summary: A fun and fast-paced romance. Review: Gabe is the gorgeous guy of the Hudson family, and he's also the least likely to settle down with just one woman. Especially one very red-haired, freckled, scholarly woman. But Gabe falls head over heels in love with Lizzy, who is unlike anyone he's ever dated. Unfortunately, Lizzy is well aware that she's not Gabe's usual "type," and is ready to head for home as soon as she gets what she needs from him.
Rating: Summary: This story was pure fun - passionate and sweet. Review: GABE is the third story in Ms. Foster's Buckhorn Brothers series. Gabe Kasper is the youngest of the four handsome brothers. His skills as a jack-of-all-trades afford him flexible hours, plenty of cash, and lots of opportunities to have fun. His fun loving nature, and gorgeous looks have won him plenty of female admiration. Fun and females, what a life! Gabe has no plans for settling down like his two oldest brothers. That is, until a prickly red-haired college student arrives in town looking for a hero. This story was pure fun - passionate and sweet. Look for the fourth and final story, JORDAN - HT#798 in September 2000. Leslie Tramposch for SimeGen
Rating: Summary: My favorite of the Buckhorn Brothers Review: Gabe's story was by far my favorite of this series. I enjoyed all of the brothers but this one was somehow the best. Gabe meets Elizabeth (Lizzy as he likes to call her) a seemingly square who wants to interview him because he was a hero. He is too handsome for words and she feels she is too plain for someone so wonderful. She is innocent and eager to learn... and he is intrigued and willing to teach. A great read!
Rating: Summary: Almost as hot as Jordan! Review: Hmmm....? I said "Sawyer" was my favorite, but I am not sure. It is like your first love, you really are 'in love', but later on you wonder...was it just because it was my first experience? I liked this story because it was DIFFERENT. Lizzy was not a perfect raving beauty. Still rare for the romance genre.
