Rating: Summary: Very enjoyable and fast reading Review: A very enjoyable love story with interesting plot.
Rating: Summary: Makes A Heart Happy Review: His Wicked Ways was the first romance novel I ever read. I had sworn I never would read one. But boredom forced me to and I was completely overjoyed a how wonderful and not-trashy it was. I would recommend this book to any one who loves stories of love that nothing can kill. The characters were enemies of the worst kind but nonetheless were meant to be. They overcame years of fueding and hatered to find the love of a lifetime. Don't pass this book up!
Rating: Summary: A slow read in the beginning that picks up speed. Review: I have read afew of Samantha James novels and this one is a keeper. I really enjoyed it very much, Cameron and Meredith were wonderfully matched and the book was very sensual read. Thanks for a great book and look forward to reading all of them.
Rating: Summary: wicked Review: I liked this book a lot in hindsight. It had it's moments. But all Samantha James novels leave me feeling that she could have done more. There is a sweet tender love story here but for me it just wasn't sweet or tender enough. It was memorable though. There just wasn't any wicked sutff in it. When you name a novel his wicked ways the Hero should have some wicked ways about him. This should have been called his wicked deed or something. it is a good read. Oh, by the way, the dialogue was bad. I mean the characters said everything twice. e.g. "i don't know" "i don't konw" It really became distracting. But still i liked these people and their love story enough to recomend it.
Rating: Summary: It was a great book and I intend to read more from Ms. James Review: I was looking for a book to keep my attention for an hour and found a book I could not put down. It is a greaty story, and the kind of book you keep around for a rainy day. This was my first Samantha James book, but certainly not my last.
Rating: Summary: Good Read, Bad Title Review: The title did not entice me to buy this book, but the story did. This is my first Samantha James book, and I really enjoyed it. The story is fast-paced, and Meredith and Cameron are great characters to spend a cozy evening with.
Rating: Summary: A slow read in the beginning that picks up speed. Review: This book didn't capture my interest as fast as the author's other books. The first 150 or so seemed to go by slowly, but once the characters arrive at his castle, that's when the action begins. The setting is filled with suspicion and betrayal, because the two main characters' families have been feuding for about one hundred years, yet no one knows why. I like the way the author created the bond between Meredith and Cameron's sister-in-law, and also with the other women in the castle. I also like the way she developed the love and trust between the two main characters. I look forward to reading more books from her in the future.
Rating: Summary: GREAT TALE Review: This book was my first encounter with Ms. James' work and I was most impressed. This tale is marvelous and her characters are most convincing. I like her style and would recommend this book without reserve. I'm avidly reading some of her earlier works and look forward to the ones to come.
Rating: Summary: Awesome read! Review: This book was one of the best books I have read in a long time. I was captivated by the emotional torrent the heroine was going through. My heart was taken on a journey through emotions. I highly reccomend this book for people who like a real story and not just trashy romance!
Rating: Summary: Great love story Review: This was a very good book. The story line was about a girl who retreats to the convent to avoid her rapist and it was handled very well.Meredith and Camerons' love for each other builds slowly and deepens until you can almost feel it. This book was a pleasure to read and I couldn't put it down until it was finished. Ms. James is definately an excellant author.
