Summary: Oh, the great purpleness...
Review: A book of a place where the men are men and the women are ideots... Though, to be fair, the supporting characters did not strike me as helpless twits. The part that really killed this book, however, is the purple prose in the sex and romance scenes. It is difficult to write a sex scene that carries no erotic charge whatsoever, but Ms. Lowell managed somehow.

Summary: Wonderful! Another Lowell masterpiece.
Review: As always with Lowell's books I found myself picking up Dark Fire to read again and again. This is a wonderful story that I'm sure everyone will enjoy.

Summary: Finally the woman leaves! Another Lowell keeper.
Review: As always, I enjoyed this story by E. Lowell. You can't go wrong with her. I enjoyed the characters and found I had an interest in the Andean cloud forest after her descriptions of it. It was sensual and steamy for sure. I did like the fact that the heroine for once was the one to leave this time and we got to see his pain!! It's another Lowell keeper I'm sure I'll read again and again.

Summary: Trace Rawlings..Forget Cynthia...Can I Marry You?
Review: Be still my beating heart...Trace is such a wonderful character and Cindy is so sweet and determined (to find her business partner in the Andean Forest) that I just LOVED this Book! The only thing I didn't like was that the story was too short, a total of 247 pages...It only lasted 1 1/2 hr of quality romance reading time. There is another book "Fever" that features Cindy's Brother Rye McCall, also a good read.

Summary: Excellent!
Review: Elizabeth Lowell does not disappoint! As usual, an intriguing story, a strong woman, a great location and a fascinating compelling man. Elizabeth Lowell has an amazing ability to write historical and modern fiction. Her contemporaries are particularly enjoyable because of the strong women characters, who are independent and have a life.

Review: I love all of her books but Dark Fire is really one of the greatest. The words just took me away. It was like I was there with Cindy and Trace in the cloud forest. I couldn't put it down.
