Summary: Intriging romance/humor
Review: A great read. Keeps you interested and amused. Hope is a delightful character who lights up everyone's day, and warms the coldest of hearts in Dr. Hartman and his ice cold family. Her integrity and faith gives her the strength to stand up to any situation, (some tough, and humourous). One of those books you don't want to put down. Enjoy!

I have quite often found them to be wimpy and poorly written. Ms. Coulter has set me and the genre straight. She has raised the standards and I look forward to her next effort. What a pleasant and good humored story even with its heart-tugging moments. I didn't want it to end...

Summary: The Best Love Inspired Book Ever!!!!
Review: I have read this book so many times I have lost count. I just got into love inspired books a couple of monthes ago and thought this one loked okay but then it sat aside for nearly a month. When I finally read it , In a couple of hours, I picked it back up and started to read it again. It was just such a good story full of suspense and drama and then ending so unlike the other books I had read.

Summary: A book that I would read more than once-
Review: I really love to read Christian love stories. It is very hard to find books (even Christian ones) that do not have sexual or immoral undertones. This book was absolutely wonderful!! It was not a fluff book at all. I could not put it down until I had read all of it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that would love to read a nice clean book that lets this sinful world know that God is very much alive and very much on His throne. He loves us and His greatest wish is that every man, woman, and child realize that we are nothing without Him. And the most important thing that we could ever do is to let go of our own will and realize that His will is always best for us. He is only a prayer away.

Amazon.com, but I had to make the exception with Brenda Coulter's
"Finding Hope" IT IS WONDERFUL! I couldn't put this book down. I was awake at 3 AM reading it because I couldn't wait to see what happened to the characters! There's just the right amounts of humor, love, romance, and scripture quoting. It's not overly done as some titles go a bit overboard in areas.I enjoyed this title because Hope, the female main character (or protagonist in the literary world), is sweet, but not too sweet. Hope sees the good in everyone, and tries to stop those that kick themselves (in this instance, Dr. Charles W. Hartman III, or Trey/Charlie for short.) She also helps others in Dr. Hartman's family. I won't go into the plot too much because I don't want to spoil the (great) reading experience of this book title! I HIGHLY recommend this book title for those looking for something to cheer them up and need a hug!

Summary: FINDING HOPE is a stunning debut by Brenda Coulter!
Review: I was quickly drawn in by Hope and Charles' tenuous relationship. They are two people who cross paths only by chance. Charles, a hardworking trauma surgeon, hides his emotions. First impressions make the reader think this is not a lovable man - only to a special kind of woman. Charles' abrasiveness and difficult family and money issues yield over time to Hope's humor and persistence. He's convinced there is little which is redeemable about him. Hope's a grad student who sees goodness and worth in Charles and wants to help him see it. Her gentle friendship changes Charlie's life. She feels called to guide him toward a relationship with God. Questions about faith really enhance this story nicely. The story reveals an admirable man who struggles with a multitude of real-life doubts. Hope overcomes the roadblocks Charlie throws at her, but not without dealing with her own pain. Their emerging love for God and for each other feels genuine to the reader. This debut book is a teaser, because it leaves us wanting more from Brenda Coulter! This well-paced story unfolded in a tender and very satisfying way. Coulter's writing style is enchanting. There were several times I caught myself chuckling at the author's obvious good humor, which made reading FINDING HOPE especially enjoyable.

Review: Of the inspirational fiction books from Steeple Hill publishers, this is among the best. Friendship and unconditional love, philio and agape, are the key elements of this book. The story is unique with unexpected twists. Enjoyable read. I give this book five stars in relation to similar paperbacks. I'm ready for the next one Brenda! By the way, are you related to Barbara Coulter?
