Summary: 2 days later I am still thinking about it...
Review: I read a lot of romance books and have gotten a bit bored. But this gripped me from the beginning with it's unpredictability and wonderful story line. I ached with the characters and, 2 days later, I am still thinking about them. I thought it was fabulous! Definately a book I will keep and re-read over and over.

Summary: Can't wait for more from this author!
Review: I really enjoyed Ian and Katherine's story. This book was slightly different from other time- travel tales. Family is an important bond and it was touching to see how far Katherine's brother Jeff was willing to go in order to save her and Ian from an unhappily ever-after. I can't wait to read more by Ms. Davis. Maggie Shayne's review on the front cover "has all the makings of a classic" is very true.

Summary: This book is a MUST read!
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed Katherine and Iain's story. I especially liked the way Dee Davis threw Katherine's brother Jeff and her best friend Elaine into the mix. This book has everything from time travel to a mysery to a happy ending.

Summary: A Wonderful Romance!!!
Review: I thought Ms. Davis could have put more depth and realization to her characters and their surroundings. Ms. Davis should read Diana Gabaldon's Scottish Novels, and then recognize how much was missing in this book.

Summary: Lacks a Certain Spark
Review: I was disappointed with this book. It was just another Scottish time travel romance, indistinguishable from so many others I've read. While competently written, it fell flat in characterization, making it easy for the setting to take center stage. The ending was disappointing, too, and somewhat contrived. All in all, in this reader's opinion, the book does not live up to the hoopla. Not all that bad, just nothing new. Nothing different.

Summary: Romantic Time Travel at its finest
Review: What a wonderful debut for Dee Davis. Katherine and Ian's story is one that stays with you a long time. You care about these two. You want them to be together from the start. The characters are well defined, the plot is not filled with cliches. I really cared what happened to these two. It is obvious they are the love of each other's life. Even the secondary characters are so well defined as to add to the story itself, not just "pad" it. The fact that I love the British Isles for settings in my books helps, too! *smile* The romance, suspense, time travel, it all goes to make this one you shouldn't miss. Ms Davis is a new star on the horizon and I look forward to reading more of her books.

Summary: Wonderful treasure!
Review: What a wonderful treasure! Ms. Davis's book was refresingly exciting with surprising twists and come to life vivid characters. I made the mistake of starting to read it on a work night and finished at 5:00 in the morning. I cheered the heros, booed the villians and felt the bonds of love and family. Can't wait for her next book. I was fortunate enough to meet Ms. Davis and have her sign my book for me. Her gracious warmth and her love of writing have me looking forward with anticipation to her next book (which is supposed to come out around February).
