Rating: Summary: Warm, witty tale told with a Southern accent. Review: An unlikely heroine, a storybook hero, TEXAS MILLIONAIRE has all the elements I love in a romance. Glitz and glamour are only bit players. This is a character-driven story, one I think you'll enjoy if you like warm, witty stories told with a strong Southern accent.
Rating: Summary: A terrific book for an afternoon by the pool! Review: Hank is an attractive Texas hero, and Callie is a refreshing young woman. Her Aunt Manie is a meddler of the most entertaining variety. This book has lots of surprises. I loved it.
Rating: Summary: Texas Cattlemen's Club Review: He was the epitome of masculinity -- and rich as sin. But with midlife approaching, Texas baron Hank Langley was in sore need of a wife. And finding a Mrs. Langley from the bevy of social-climbing beauties was a challenge even for this ex-military man. Until Callie Riley, his new, much-younger secretary, breezed into his life and took Hank's hardened heart by storm. Suddenly he was learning more about love than he'd ever thought possible. Could the millionaire convince this fresh-faced country girl to say "I do" to an older man?
Rating: Summary: One of Dixie Browning's most enjoyable books! Review: The warmth of these characters drew me in from the start. I loved both the hero and heroine, and adored the secondary character, Miss Manie. I especially liked the heroine who was smart and sassy and very honest. Good book to relax with for an evening.
