Rating: Summary: Linda Castillo is definitely an author to watch! Review: COPS AND. . . LOVERS Is a wonderful book, perhaps even better than Ms. Castillo's award-winning debut, REMEMBER THE NIGHT. The heroine, Erin, is a perfect blend of vulnerable, yet strong and determined. The hero, Nick, is incredibly sexy, even though he's fiercely overprotective, and even as we get glimpses of his emotional torment. The sexual tension sizzled between these two, and the action-packed scenes kept me turning the pages. Another keeper from Ms. Castillo.
Rating: Summary: Thrill-a-minute...couldn't put it down til I had finished it Review: Do yourself a big favor and get this book! You won't regret it! It's just as good (or better) than her first book. A fast read, filled with page-turning suspense and LOTS of sexual tension, I was sorry to see it end! I'm definitely looking forward to her next book!

Rating: Summary: A passionate police drama -- Highly recommended Review: Erin McNeal loved the rush of adrenaline until the night she broke the cop's cardinal rule -- she froze during a crucial moment, putting her partner at risk. Nine years of service, decorations, and fast track promotions ended in that deadly warehouse and resulted in her resignation. Six months later, Erin prepares to leave exchange the rush of working for Chicago's Police Force for that of Logan Falls. For a cop with few prospects and a bum shoulder, she knows that she has to make a good impression or she might have to make a career change; to security, perhaps. Chief of Police Nick Ryan expects hard eyes that have seen too much on Chicago's streets, not the attractive, tenacious woman who walks into his office two hours early for her interview. In spite of himself, Nick finds himself drawn to this wounded officer, and despite his doubts, hires Erin. But he quickly realizes that he doesn't need a cop that takes reckless risks because she something to prove. Nick also quickly realizes that someone's trying to kill her. COPS AND ... LOVERS grips the reader from the first page and never turns loose. As the ancient battle of the sexes comes alive in this police drama, the danger and the passion becomes heated and intense. With remarkable understanding and clarity of the dangers faced by cops, author Linda Castillo weaves a tale of intrigue, passion, and danger that comes highly recommended.
Rating: Summary: Thrill-a-minute...couldn't put it down til I had finished it Review: Exciting book with all the elements I was looking for in a beach vacation book! The only problem was I started reading it on the plane, and had to continue in the hotel room at the resort, thus delaying my excursion to the beach....but read it AGAIN poolside! Lots of suspense and enough sultriness to keep the pages turning!
Rating: Summary: Castillo's done it again! Review: I just love Linda Castillo's work! In this book, her characters are so real you think you just might run into them on the street corner tomorrow. Erin is gutsy and yet vulnerable...which plays right into Nick's need to protect, and his fear of risk-taking women. They spark like crazy every time they get together. Cops and...Lovers is a yummy summer read! Don't miss it!
