Summary: Maggie Osborne has written another keeper
Review: This book is wonderful. Three abandoned brides set out after their perfect husband, only to discover, via their "heirloom" wedding rings, that they have all married the same fortune hunting bigamist. Determined to regain their money and perhaps to kill the scoundrel, these three completely mismatched and unwilling travelling companions set out on the trail to the Klondike. Of course, they each meet the man of their dreams while in hot pursuit of their "husband". This book is well researched and beautifully written. Each character is well delineated, with all their idiosyncrasies displayed consistently. Along the way you will encounter two of the funniest seduction scenes I have ever read, and an infamous arm wrestling match. As to how the author manages to portray six love affairs and seven major characters realistically in one book with aplomb- well, you'll just have to read this super book to find out.

Summary: Laugh out loud reading
Review: This book sat on my dresser for a long time and it even traveled to Georgia with me without being read. I just couldn't get into it. Finally, when I had nothing else to read I pushed past the first 100 pages and boy am I glad I did. It turned into a really good read!

It does take a while to get into the characters and to get the actual plot moving -- 3 women discover they are married to the same man who has disappeared with their money and they decide to follow him to the Yukon where he is joining the gold rush. It did take me a while to identify with the women and I found them to be annoying at first. But I grew to admire their tenacity and perseverance. More importantly, they made me laugh. This book contains one (okay two) of the funniest love scenes I've read. And, I found it very, very interesting to read about the Yukon gold rush and what people had to go through to get there. As a matter of fact, I found a web site that has some good pics and maps to show where the characters in this book travel .

I would recommend this book and it is worth the read for the last third of the book.

So now the book is sitting on my sister's dresser...

Summary: Three brides.. one groom
Review: This is my first book by Maggie Osborne. I give five stars for the characteristics development. I thought that since there are too many heroines (3.. in fact), the characters will not be fully deleveloped by the authors. My, how I was mistaken by that assumption. The author really nailed me hard on the book as the story progessed and I would laughed, cheered and cried for Juliette, Clara and Zoe struggles to find their one cheating husband. The story really progressed wonderfully with each of the heroines have their own man that they found along their journey to Yukon searching for their bigamy husband. The characteristics were different from one another, Juliette is the prim and proper girl, Clara is the hardworking and bold one, and Zoe is beautiful and honest. These different women make the story more interesting, since the hatred between them (because of their relationship as wives to the same man) will turn into sisterly love in the end. The heroes (Ben, Bear and Tom) were simply dashing and described as humanly as possible since they also have their own secrets and mistakes. Readers will surely feel the complex emotions of these heroines and understand their hatred towards their only husband, Jean Jacques Villette. The story is also funny and sexy, not to mention heart endearing as trust play the most important part in their life. I would suggest that if you want to buy the book; go, grab it and start reading since you will be hooked in seconds. It was engaging and fresh, different from the typical romance.

Summary: An unusual but enjoyable story!
Review: This story is not part of the usual romance mold where boy meets girl, they fight the attraction and then fall in love. Here, Juliette starts out on a trip to find her lost husband. On the way, she meets Clara and Zoe who are also looking for their lost husbands - who happen to be the same man! The three instantly hate each other but work together towards their end goal. Each woman sees what they hate most in themselves brought out by the other two women. And they also learn a lot about themselves in the process.
In the trek to the Yukon to find their lucky husband, each woman finds the man she really loves. Unfortunately, they are not free to become involved with a man but must reconcile their love with their morals as they decide to avoid or embrace their new feelings. And then the moment comes when each woman must come clean about their past...
A fun story to read with a lot of humor as we see three women discover who they truly are and find what they really want.

Summary: Thoroughly delightful!!!
Review: What a completely charming book!! Normally, a book that revolves around 3 separate romances would throw me off, but this was just too good!!! I have to tell you this book had some of the funniest lovescenes I have ever encountered...the scene between Juliette and Ben when he was setting the table is one that I wont soon forget!! As much as I loved the romance, and the fun storyline and setting, my favorite part of this book had to be the friendship between the 3 women...they were all so different..Juliette was a riot..Im telling you this is a must read!!

Summary: Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!
Review: What a fabulous book! The storyline was very interesting and progressed at a good pace. At first I thought that 3 romances in one book would be too much but the personalities of all 3 pairs were very well developed and it was easy to keep everybody straight. I shivered along with poor Juliette in the minus 20 degree weather and shed a few tears when the womens' lies were revealed. But that was well balanced by my loud laughter during Clara and Juliette's seduction scenes. ("Crystal." "Crystal? Oh!"..."Do the silver next" she whispered.) I howled. This was an excellent romance and I recommend it highly. Bravo, Maggie Osborne!!

Summary: Maggie Osborne does it again!
Review: What a wonderful premise! Three very different women -- Juliette, Clara and Zoe -- discover by accident that they are all married to the same man and, once the shock has abated, set out to the Yukon to find him. This makes for a delightful, fast-paced "on-the-road" novel filled with love and adventure. Inevitably, each of the women grows and changes and finds her own true love. But the course of those relationships can't possibly run smoothly, especially when the intrepid ladies are married to someone else.

Ms. Osborne's characters are always well-drawn and a treat to read. Her plots are intriguingly different and set up complex problems for the characters to resolve. This is another fabulous book in her repetoire. I loved it.
