Rating: Summary: Excuse my snoring! Way too slow, unbelievable, and boring. Review: Cassie Edwards has written books that I have enjoyed. (Savage Embers is one of my all- time favorite romance novels.) But this one was awful. This book was a disappointment on so many levels. The portrayal of the characters was totally off. (A real Blackfoot Chief would never have been this mushy in front of his whole tribe.) No true history was shown in storyline at all. There was no excitement... I found myself skimming through pages just to get it over with. The ending was a total bore. Every time it seemed like an exciting plot may finally be coming, it was ended before it began. Every conflict was sewn up neatly by solutions that were not at all believable. Far too many circumstances throughout the story were way too convenient to seem possible. (Family members showing up to save the day from out of no where. A deserted cabin in the woods that was full of food and clothing that happened to be the perfect size for the woman, and for her little brother as well????) Cassie Edwards is famous for having her characters fall madly in love within 24 hours after first meeting one another. That has always been hard for me to take. This storyline was just not good enough to make me overlook that this time. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!
Rating: Summary: A fantastic tale of unexpected romance and passion Review: Flaming Arrow not only shares Blackfoot Indian history, but paints a wonderful romantic picture - with perhaps a bit of a life lesson. True love and Passion are often found in the most unexpected places. These two people - from completely different worlds and brought up to be enemies - find love and learn that they need not hate simply because of the color of their skin.
Rating: Summary: Savage Series Review: I would like to know if Cassie answers any of her fan mail. I love reading about the Beautiful People of our time. My mother is part Cherokee and she is so beautiful. Where do you get these ideas from. Do you visit the location and then do your search for the authenicty of the book or tribe you are writing about. I have to check and see how many books I own by you. You are great. If you could, I would love to hear from you. Thanks for the wonderful reading material that you give to us readers.

Rating: Summary: Historical accuracy? Ha! Review: There is little historical research in Cassie's books, aside from what might be found in an old Cowboys and Indians show from the 1950s where all the Indians were noble, all the whites were bad (except for the heroine, OF COURSE) and everyone understood everyone perfectly. Either all the whites speak the (insert tribe name here) language or the Indians speak perfect English. The love scenes are laughable, there is no plot and the characters are barely two-dimensional.
Rating: Summary: One of the best books of her imagination!! Review: This book is wonderfully written and very imaginative in the romantic sence. I am a major Cassie Edwards fan and found that she has put me in awe of her talent again. If you want to be on the edge of your seat and near tears this is one of the best books you can choose to read to do that.
Rating: Summary: ONE OF A KIND! Review: This is my most favorite romance book of all.It keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time your reading it.You wont be able to put it down.It has everything you could ever want in a novel; passion, intrigue, excitement, and an ending that will keep your heart soaring days after you've read it.Too bad i've loaned it out and it just seemed to have disappeared off the face of the earth.;)
Rating: Summary: This book is So BAD Review: This is the second (and last) book by this author that I will ever try to force myself through. The plot (if you can call it one) is laughable, the characters are dumb and the conflict is a joke. The heroine is too stupid to live. She has a gun with her when she is taken hostage by the Blackfoot chief that she all too soon and in awful purple prose comes to love, but she doesn't use it to try and free herself or her brother. Then there's the story line of a chief taking his people away from their beloved Montana to settle in Missouri and be farmers. Give me a break. This piece of trash isn't worth lining a bird cage with.
