Review: Tamara Sneed has become one of my favorite authors!!! This was the first book that attracted me to her writing. The story line was AMAZING! Full of passion, intrigue, mystery, espionage, family, friends, strength... What can I say? Simply AWESOME!!! So much so that it made me read all her others, and they were just as good. I can't wait for her next one!!! Do yourself a favor. READ THIS BOOK!!!

Summary: Impressive debut
Review: Tamara Sneed is off to a winning start with her romance writing career! I loved the characters,the depth of emotion, the suspense and the romantic fusion of two kindred souls. Cary was a tad too pigheaded in places, but hey, nobody's perfect and certainly not the best romance heroes. The secondary romance that develops adds just the right comedic touch. And because readers observe it entirely through the heroine's point of view it doesn't overshadow the main romance. Ms. Sneed's prose is smoothly engaging and the pacing just right. She even avoided the evil mustache twirling stereotype for the book's main villain. He was bad, but his motivation made you empathize with him. It's hard to believe this is a debut romance novel. I can't wait to read more of her work.

Review: This book was definitely a great read! I read this book on a Sunday afternoon and couldn't put it down. The story line was suspenseful and it kept me interested. Having lived in CA and visited the San Francisco area many times, I could actually visualize the areas mentioned in the story. Jessica and Cary were definitely soul-mates. David and Erin reminded me of actual friends that lived in CA. Tamara Sneed's debut novel is a big A+. I can't wait for her next novel!! This is definitely a "keeper" to read many times.

Review: This new author brings us suspense and powerful romance in the city of San Francisco. Financial consultant Jessica Larson happens upon a bed-and-breakfast inn in Northern California during a rainstorm and is intrigued by one of the guests, government agent Cary Riley who is there on orders from his company. Cary has abandoned his brother and sister after their parents' death of which he holds himself responsible. He has joined the elite force of the FBI called The Group who specialize in anti-terrorists groups to forget his torture. Jessica herself is a workaholic who at the age of twenty-five has racked an impressive resume and is on the fast track to making partner in her firm. But on that stormy night she is seduced by not only Cary's drop dead gorgeous looks, but his seemingly modest attitude and his kind nature not to mention she sees his need for trust. Cary knows he must walk away from this attractive, leggy beauty who is innocent in the ways of romance and who is in danger of capturing his heart. They part, both acknowledging things just will not work between them though Jessica feels he is the other half that has been missing from her life. Unknown to her a past enemy of Cary's has targeted her to get to him. Cary's race to save the woman who has become a part of his soul sets the pace for this drama. At times his stubbornness was just a bit much and tended to drag down the story line, but colorful secondary characters and sizzling love scenes make this a nice first effort for this author.
