Rating: Summary: Harlequin Intrigue Novel Review: From the back of the novel:A dream come true, or a nightmare? It should have been a plum assignment for private eye Ann Mellion. She'd spend a weekend at an antebellum estate, posing as an heiress and being pursued by three attractive gents. Sort of like Gone With the Wind meets "The Dating Game." Trouble was the mansion housed more horror that Southern charm... Bachelors numbers one and two turne out to be her deadly enemies...and her dream date remained irritatingly incognito. Luckily she wasn't the ingenue they all thought. Still, dodging the dastardly deeds of three flirtatious fortune hunters wasn't easy. One was her true hero..and her destiny. But who was who?
Rating: Summary: Great Locked Room mystery with romance to boot Review: If you are not familiar with Sharon Green she is a very talented writer- well known for her erotic science fiction. She has also written some intelligent romantic suspense novels for the Harlequin Intrigue line. This is one of my favorites. A true "locked room" mystery Fantasy Man is a tale of suspense, intrigue, deceptions and passions. Our heroine Ann is a P.I who saves an undercover agent in the opening pages and never finds out who he is. He sends her flowers but they never meet. Fast forward- Ann is feeling melancholy and in need of a vacation when she is asked to pose as an heiress and sit in for her while a will is being read. What Ann does not realize is that her heiress is a very popular young lady- 4 others and the staff of 3 are all trapped at the gloomy southern mansion they have been summoned to for the reading of the will. Inclimate weather traps them and strange things begin to happen. Which of her 3 suitors will reveal himself as her mystery agent? Why are people being drugged? WHo is the intruder? Good twisty turning whodunnit- with some spicy romance thrown in to heat things up.
