Summary: amazing!
Review: I have read several Michaels books, but this is one of my favorite. This one I could not put down and finished it in 2 days. These are some of her better characters and the story starts off rather quickly. It sure kept me quessing and is scary enough to satisfy any reader. And leave it to Michaels to through in a good love story.

Summary: Perfect for a Rainy Weekend<B>
Review: I wish that I could forget this book, so I could read it anew<B> It had me guessing until the very end<B> If you like ghostly sightings and quirky, funny main characters, you will love this book<B> I can't remember when I enjoyed a book more that is unless of course it was another Barbara Michaels' novel<B>

Summary: Good, but not that good
Review: It is written in a bit of old fashioned style. Do not expect wild things to happen. Meg has had an accident and is staying in an old house for six months. Andy is the caretaker. They experience some strange things. Together they try to find out what has happened centuries ago in this very house. Andy is not your typical hero (not handsome or anything)and do not expect sizzling romance. I did like the book. It is a quiet easy read. But I do not think I will buy a Barbara Michaels anymore.

Summary: House of Many Shadows
Review: My all time favorite Barbara Michaels novel. Although I read it many, many years ago, it's one of the few that has stayed in my memory bank. It is the one that has kept me searching through the library, used books stores and e-books lists with hopes of finding more. I've read most of her other pseudonyms as well, but this is the one that touches on most of her contemporary themes with a dash of the gothic as well. If Michaels is a new author to you, this is the one I would start with.

Summary: Bravisimo!
Review: This book was absolutely awesome. Not that anything written by Barbara Michaels would be anything less! The supernatural suspense/mystery with the touch of romance is just what i needed on a cold Michigan winter day. And, even being the paranoid mystery reader that i am, it didnt send me locking doors and checking out dark hallways! Definitely a good read in any kind of weather!!!

Summary: The Best So Far she's written!!!
Review: This is one of her best works of art. She never gives away the plot and it's always surprising at the end! The plot is not completely revealing with just enough with a mix of horror and romance to make a fine novel.

Summary: One of my favs
Review: This is one of my favorite books by Barbara Michaels. Although some might consider this "old fashioned" they have to realize it was written in the early 70's. Whenever I have a free saturday to sit around and read, I either reach for this or one of my other favorites of hers.
