Review: I loved this book. It had adventure, romances, and suspense. It was a heart warming story. Garrett was a hero in the finest sense. Chelsey did not know what to think on this big warm Teddy Bear of a man. This book was one of Maggie Shayne finest.

Review: When Buddy's desparate mother leaves him at the home of the local sheriff she found more then shelter for her endangered child she found a home. A home made complete when his grieving aunt shows up save him from the man she thinks killed her little sister.

I love this book. I've read it a dozen times and it remains one of my favorites and in my opinion one of Shayne's most powerful books ever. Plus being the start of The Texas Brand series.
