Rating: Summary: LACHLAN, YOU CAN HAUNT MY HOUSE ANY DAY! Review: Mickee Madden is a wondeful writer of love with a twist. I read all kinds of romance books and alot of them leave me bored/same old thing...NOT SO WITH EVERLASTIN' I actually loved the Scottish brogue. The eye for detail made the book more real, even though it was a fantasy. Isn't the entire idea of reading a romance with ghosts, vampires, time travel etc., is somewhere deep inside we're looking for a love that's out of the ordinary. That's why it's called a FANTASY. I've read Dust Before Dawn, Love Everlastin' and couldn't wait for Hope Everlastin' to go on sale. MS. Madden I await your next book that I won't be able to put down. Thank you!
Rating: Summary: Great cover - pity about the lack of emotion! Review: The first of four books, _Everlastin'_ is the divine tale of a love so powerful even death can't hinder it. Lachlan Baird has overcome death and waited 150 years for a woman to fill his heart with love. He finds that love in the very modern Beth Staples. The story of their love is moving, heavenly and at times even heart wrenching. Ms. Madden has done a superb job by taking romance to the next step. _Everlastin'_ has a thoroughly unique premise, one that is at once enchanting and mystical. You'll fall head over heels in love with Lachlan and his lilting Scottish burr. You'll feel his pain as he watches Beth suffer, knowing there's nothing he can do to stop the inevitable. You'll delight as these two kindred souls find each other, though time and death would try to keep them apart. In the end you'll know that a love like this comes around once in a lifetime and when it does it's everlastin'. Be sure to look for the other books in this series, _Dusk Before Dawn_, _Love Everlastin'_ and _Hope Everlastin'_ for more of Beth, Lachlan, Roan and the beautiful Scottish mansion Baird House -- where mystery, magic and love reign.

Rating: Summary: LACHLAN, YOU CAN HAUNT MY HOUSE ANY DAY! Review: The hero of this story is by far the most romantic male ever conceived. Lachlan, the ghost who "lives" in his beautiful Scottish mansion, has an incredible accent. Mickee Madden did a fantastic job capturing the sounds of a Scottish burr on the pages of this book. Lachlan is a hopeless romantic, but he is quite funny at times also. He is the ideal lover (except for that whole death thing) to almost anyone looking for a romance novel to dive into. While not necessarily a story grounded in reality, it does leave the reader with warm feelings; the love this ghost feels for the protagonist is almost tangible. I have read several romance novels, and this one is by far my favorite. I never tire of this story, even though I have read it numerous times. I highly recommend this novel to anyone who loves a good love story.
Rating: Summary: This book is absolutely the BEST romance novel out there! Review: The hero of this story is by far the most romantic male ever conceived. Rating: Summary: Everlastin' by Mickee Madden Review: The Hologram cover on the soft cover is the readers first impression there's a ghost involved. What's between the covers will make you smile, gasp, giggle and blush. A wonderful love story, written in a unique style. Mickee Madden knows how to spin a tale and keep her reader coming back for more. The recent owners of Baird Mansion in Scotland, invite their friend Beth Staples of America to come for a holiday. A ghostly presences has haunted the mansion since 1843. His death was tragic when his bride murdered him and his friend buried him alive in the walls of the tower. Beth Staples agrees to comes for a much need vacation. After some strange things happen, she becomes suspicious that things aren't normal at Baird House. When she decides to leave, she finds she can't....... We also meet the family the Ghost hates. His widow and best friends offspring. One is Roan Ingliss, who seems to be a little different from all the other lazy, thieving Inglisses. A young lady Laura Bennett and her 3 nephews arrive in a harrowing way and add even more chaos to the house. A story filled with: Love; family feuding;danger; life;death;time travel and of course a ghost. Mickee Madden added a glossary for the Scottish dialog.
Rating: Summary: Everlastin' lasts forever! Review: The Scottish character's dialogue was fun to read, at first, but, it got verra auld. 'Afore abou' an hoor, Ah'd `ad aneuch
Rating: Summary: Good beginning goes flat Review: The thought of this kind of romance intrigued me, so I bought the book. Little did I know that it started out srtong but would fizzle into nothing. The beginning was good but the middle and ending were plain boring. The laird is nice. The lady is a shrew throughout most the book. I mean, give the guy a break already. I would rather check this book out of the library than pay the 5 or 6 bucks for it
Rating: Summary: Everlastin' Review: This book had an interesting idea...but the story did not run very smoothly. I started to get annoyed with the main characters, and the last 50 or so pages everything just didn't seem to go well with the story. Many times the characters acted out-of-character. The way the girl acted, it's amazing the man had anything to do with her. I could not believe there was chemistry between them. So I was bored by the end and could hardly finish reading it, which is really unusual for me(I skimmed the last chapter).
Rating: Summary: Hoo, boy.... Review: This book had promise (that's why I bought it): the plot had potential, and the characters started out fairly strong. But it became very stupid very quickly. And thanks to this author, I can't BEAR to hear a Scottish accent. This author should never, EVER try to replicate an accent in dialogue again!
