Review: Manny Sanchez is a Harley driving FBI agent going undercover to hunt the leaders of a baby smugling ring. Coming to his aid on a torrential Texas night, Randi Cullen gives him and the baby with him shelter. She further helps his cover by pretending to be his wife. But Randi has been living alone on her isolated ranch and now new desires have been stirred in her by the dangerous stranger.

This is an exciting story from the opening rescue through all the passion and romance to follow.

Linda Conrad's Desperado Dad is the second in her Operation Rock-a-Bye series. She continues to thrill the reader and I'm looking forward to her next book.

Review: Out to bring down a baby smuggling ring, Manny Sanchez comes to the rescue of an infant swept away in freezing floodwaters. Randi Cullen, who lives on the Running C Ranch, takes in both of them. The Running Ranch is suspected of being the center of the ring. Surely this innocent couldn't be involved? I found myself enjoying Linda Conrad's DESPERADO DAD . How can anyone not like a man who looks like Grizzly Adams and has a heart of gold, loves children, and would give his life for the woman he loves?

Review: When Manuel Sanchez laid down his "hog" all I could say was "Ouch". Even my shoulder hurt.

Randi Cullen from the Running C Ranch helped save Manny and the baby "Ricky" from the raging torrent and submerging minivan.

But OH! OH! Running C was where the coyote and his kidnapped baby were headed. Manny was afraid that Randi must be connected with ring he was working undercover trying to catch.

Ah! but there was too much innocence in this reclusive beauty. One thing lead to another and Manny proposed a marriage of convenience to protect his cover. Randi was more than agreeable as she had falllen in love with Ricky and she was determined to know about the ways of a man with a woman.
Such innocent searching was delightful.

This story is great from start to finish - we also again meet Witt and his wife, Carley -- Witt was Manny's former partner.
