Rating: Summary: Truly One of her Best Stories! Review: A tortured hero accused of a heinous crime, determined to take his revenge any way he can, even if it means abducting an innocent young woman. But Drake isn't prepared for the way Averyl touches his heart, soothes his hurts and heals his tormented soul. An absolute wonderful tale of love and betrayal that will keep you turning the pages! I can't wait for Kieran's story.
Rating: Summary: This book and this series keeps me enthralled! Review: His Stolen Bride kept me involved from the battle-torn first page to the tender last page. Immediately, we see the three "Brothers" fighting a battle against our hero Drake's enemies, the Clan Campbell. When is father is murdered before Drake's eyes, he learns in his father's dying breath that his own half-brother, Murdoch, is responsible. Then Drake is accused of the murder and brought back to Scotland, where he endures Murdoch's terrible torture for months, until his "brothers" Aric and Kieran can free him. After gaining his freedom, Drake seeks revenge against his half-brother by abducting Averyl Campbell, the bride Murdoch must take in order to fully inherit the title and monies left to him by their father. Drake intends only to prevent Averyl from marrying Murdoch, but he is not prepared for her incredible determination to marry Murdoch. She needs his money to save her people from starving and Drake's plans means people she's known all her life will suffer. Drake is also not prepared for his reaction to Averyl as a woman. Nor can Averyl understand her attraction to a MacDougall fiend willing to rob her of her entire future. The depth of these characters astounded me! Averyl is a woman we can all relate to. Many of us want something in life and often feel hampered by fear. Slowly, Drake cures her of her worst insecurity, the belief she is homely. And Averly helps Drake to see that what his parents shared was a bitter enmity, not love, and she does it by showing him such selfless devotion, it made me cry. Murdoch is a truly evil villian, but ultimately motivated in his own twisted way. And while seeing Aric again and getting glimpses of the intriguing Kieran were fun, Drake and Averyl took center stage. Their sexual tension was potent, their intense emotions even stronger. I was so wrapped up in their developing relationship! The ending was a true surprise and kept me on the edge of my chair until nearly the last page. I can't say enough wonderful things about this book. I also can't wait for His Rebel Bride!

Rating: Summary: a stunning second story! Review: Such a powerfully written story! You will applaud the heroine's strength and feel for her weaknesses. You will grieve for the hero's hurt and cry for the proof of his love for his wife. This story truly touched my heart! A very satisfying second story in the trilogy....I can only hope Kieran's story is half as good!
Rating: Summary: CAPTIVES OF LOVE Review: Wrongly accused of murdering his father, Drake Thornton MacDougall wanted nothing more than to take revenge against his guilty and duplicitous half-brother. So he struck at the fiend the only way he could...by abducting his bride-to-be. Yet when Drake carried his captive off to a windswept Scottish isle, he found more trouble than he ever dreamed. For Lady Averyl Campbell was no biddable maiden, but an alluring, strong-willed beauty who would not be cowed by his dark moods and smoldering anger.
