Summary: I LOVE THIS BOOK
Review: I love the ROCKCREEK SIX series. They are my favorite all time romance books.I think other readers of romance will enjoy them also,

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: This is my least favorite bk of the Rock Creek series.
Review: I loved the Reese and Nate books. Thought the Cash book was a super finale, bringing all the guys and their families together. Unfortunately I didn't like the Rico tale at all and Jed is a disappointment. Jed and Hannah are great fun. The dialogue is witty and they are people you want to see find happiness. The story line/plot is pretty weak. Having read the other stories which held one's interest and were really enjoyable this one was a disappointment. The series as a whole is a great concept but skipping this one won't impact the others.

Summary: A Wonderful Western Series
Review: Jed is fourth in the Rock Creek Series. The order is: Reese, Sullivan, Rico, Jed, Nate, and Cash.

Jed certainly lives up to the rest, as new characters are introduced and old favorites return.

A former soldier, Pinkerton detective, and one of the original gunmen known as the Rock Creek Six, Jed meets his match in Hanna. She's a fiesty plantation owner who has traveled west to help save her worthless brother-in-law, who's in the Rock Creek jail facing a murder charge. Since Jed was formerly involved with the dead man's widow, he finds himself between a rock and a hard place when he returns to Rock Creek with Hanna!

I really enjoyed this book and absolutely love this series! I'd recommend the Rock Creek Six any time. They're worth keeping and reading again and again.

Summary: #4 PART OF THE SERIES -- LEAST PLOT
Review: Jed was an excellent character - Hannah was right for him -- but I do agree. Jed and Rico had the least plot strength of all [so far] stories depended on sex to hold them together.

Jed has the wanderlust - it is right to match him up with a lady? who wants to see something of the world. Hannah had never set foot out of Alabama until her sister summoned her for help.

I really loved her fiestyness and the way she kept pushing at Jed but there didn't seem to be enough physical and emotional tension [or at least it didn't come across].

The murder plot and the murderer weren't threatening enough.
Jed didn't ooze enough mystery for Hannah to unravel and the action wasn't tense enough.

Ah well, the characters were still great, the writing itself was excellent and Jed still fit in enough with the Rock Creek Six -- As with Rico there was too much froth and not enough beer.

The Rock Creek Six is still an excellent read -- just hope the last 2 are stronger than the middle. I love a mystery and definitely action [and not always in bed] strong characters and strong emotional ties in their relationships and definitely communication [especially in the end].

Will still recommend as a whole --M [attitude is really a moving factor].

Summary: Jed
Review: This is one of the Rock Creek Series and they are really terrific books. Try and read them consecutively, beginning with Reese. The romance is terrific, the plot has substance and I stayed up late one night finishing it. You can't miss this series...

Summary: The Rock Creek Six grabs you.....
Review: This is the fourth book in the Rock Creek Six series. Three books were written by Lori Handeland and three by Linda Devlin. Jed Rourke finds himself heading back to Rock Creek after one of his many trips. His itchy feet and wanderlust are his trademark. Little does he know that this stage ride home is going to change his life.
Hannah Winters has traveled from Alabama to answer her sister's plea for help. Hannah is used to taking charge and making all the decisions. The sparks fly between her and Jed and you can't wait to see what will happen next. It has always been fun to me to see a large, mountain of a man....find he just can't walk away from the one woman who is driving him nuts. As in the previous books of this series....not only does Jed and Hannah's story keep you up too late reading.....the glimpes of the other Rock Creek Six are like seeing family. Wonderful western with characters that you come to care about like family. Highly recommend the entire series. I can't wait to read Nate and Cash's stories.
