Summary: A Must-read for Corporate Management
Review: Not only is this book an imaginative story about an engineer's vivid imagination, but it also highlights potential benefits from integrating and enabling organizational data systems. As our main character enthusiastically applies his own creative ideas about data in an attempt to improve his workplace, we get a taste of some of both the tangible and intangible value hidden within data systems. We see this character apply creativity to dealing with his family life as well, which may provide help and hope to the overworked and underpaid of America.

I highly recommend the book -- not only for the great light-hearted humor which had me laughing out loud (much to my wife's chagrin), but as much for changing the way we think about computer technology in the workplace.

I'll be thinking about Heather tonight as I drift off to sleep...

I thorougly enjoyed the slightly bemused tone of the protagonist, and his befuddled heroism. The book's gentle humor made me smile, with occasional outbursts of laughter. If you can relate to Dilbert but are socially adept enough to have a family, you're going to enjoy this book.
