Summary: Okay but a Little too Soap Operaish!
Review: The book Jordan's Wife written by Lynda Trent is okay but I think it could have been better. It is about Beau Fletcher who moves to a small town where he falls for his neighbor Glenna King who is the widow of the town hero named Jordan, it is a very small town and even though Jordan passed away years ago Glenna and Beau have to not only face the scorn of the late Jordan's parents but also basically everyone in town has put Jordan up on a pedestal and resents their relationship as well, added to that Glenna has to deal with Beau's troubled teenage daughter who has an intense hatred torwards her. The book was okay but a bit too whiney for my taste and too much like a soap opera! Two and a half stars!

Summary: Not A Very Happy Story!
Review: The book was Okay, just a little too long winded, it is about the relationship of a man named Beau and a woman named Glenna who is the widow of the town hero named Jordan, it is a very small town and even though Jordan passed away years ago, Glenna and Beau have to not only face the scorn of the late Jordan's parents but also basically everyone in town has put Jordan up on a pedestal and resents their relationship as well, added to that Glenna has to deal with Beau's teenage daughter who has an intense hatred torwards her. I just found the book a little too long winded and just too full of emotional conflict, I guess I just prefer a happier lighter romance book where people are actually happy and don't have to deal with problems, problems, problems! There are enough problems in real life and I like a book where you can escape from that!
