Summary: This book was meant to be enjoyed.
Review: I hate to read but I could not put the book down I read this 300+ page book in about 2 to 3 days.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A very good book which should have been a little longer.
Review: I liked this book a lot. I wish it were just a little longer because I think some things could have been a little clearer. Still I thought the writer did a great job of telling an exciting story in a short period of time (I believe it all happened in four or five days)! THe love between Sissy and Percy was heartfelt and you could feel their passion for one another even though they had a hard time getting together. The secondary story of Nicole and Criag was somewhat of a distraction from the main story but their relationship did help me understand other characters motives. I liked Eddie as a secondary character. He could have a book of his own. I also liked Janice although I don't think can carry a book. Sissy & Percy were soulmates and their story is not over. Maybe the author could write another story about them. I liked the writing style of the author. She writes fastpaced and is very good with dialogue and dropping hints. She also has a sense of humor in her writing. I laughted a lot. I plan to read other books by the writer. Good job.

Summary: It was absolutely wonderful!
Review: I thought this was a good story with strong, realistic characters that reflect true personalities. I felt for Nicole and loved Sissi.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: TO COFUSING
Review: She spent to much time on the other characters rather the main characters. The party scene was way to long. I felt that Craig and Michelle and Nichole were the main story line. It took me a day to read because I wanted to know if Sissi and Percy ever got together. This one is now with the money.

Summary: DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK!!!!!!!
Review: Siss Adams, a television produdcer thinks her life is going pretty well until she discovers her fiancee', Professor Phil Richardson in a compromising position with one of his students. Needless to say she breaks the engagement under his adamant protestations of everlasating love. She ,however reluctantly, agrees to go ahead with the engagement party so as not toruin his reputation. Sissi feels indebted to Phil because he paid for the restoration of her grandmother's home, a stately mansion in a small town in Morth Carolina. This home is the location of their engagement party and the focus of the story line. Percy Duvall, Sissi foarmer boyfirend is invited to the party. Thre are bitter and unresolved feelings between these two. Percy realizes, too late, that he still loves Sissi. The story seemed to stray from the rutmoil of the main three characters. Several secondary characters point of views were told to the distraction of the real story. There was family feuds, backbiting and cheating mates. Added to that was a theme of who dunnit that never materialized into a real mystery. Sometimes this review got confused as to what was really going on.

Summary: CONFUSING
Review: This was a very confusing book. She had one to many characters for me to understand what was going on. The party sceen was to long. She should have develop the main characters more. There was more relationship between Michelle and Craig than Sissi and Percy. It took me one to read this book because I wanted to know when the main characters were going to get together. The book was not boring just to confusing for me.This might have been better as a full lengh novel than a romance book.I gave it 2 star because it was a bad book.

Summary: DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK!!!!!!!
Review: This was the most horrible book I have ever had the displeasure of reading. I only finished it because I invested too much time and energy in trying to figure out what the heck was going on. Firstly, the central plot was very weak. Who invites an ex-boyfriend to their engagement party when the man doesn't believe they have miscarred a baby and accuses them of aborting the child? Secondly, there was entirely too much going on with all the love triangles and raving lunatics in the book. The characters had no depth or substance. The entire writing just seems so forced. It's almost as if the author kept writing even when she knew her material just wasn't working. I noticed this book is on backorder. There will be some terribly disappointed folks out there. Please, buy something else!
