Summary: A Definite Must Read
Review: I couldn't put it down. Well developed, believable characters. Just enough suspense to keep you reading, and keep you interested, with some interesting twists without it being artificially or unreasonably drawn out. Sizzling romance. Some pretty good handling of the emotional issues without making it overwhelming and depressing. This one is a keeper. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Byrd's work.

Review: I love mysteries and suspense mixed in with romances. If you share the same thought, then this is an excellent story. It will keep you turning the pages. You may find yourself talking out loud, then looking up to see if any one head you. Thinking all the time this would make an excellent movie. I classify this one as a MR(Must Read).

Review: I loved this story. The characters - Sonja and Dwayne were destined to fall in love from the beginning. Even though I was on the edge of my seat with Sonya's independent arrogance, I knew that she had to calm down and see the big picture in front of her. Why I wish that I could have just slapped some sense into her and have her wake her up to her prince. However, I knew that I could not do that and hoped that novelist, Adrianne Byrd would come through for us. Get this Book. --- Robbie Touchton

Summary: Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!!!
Review: I really, really enjoyed this book. I could not put it down. It held you in suspense from beginning to end. I started reading the book around 9:30 p.m. on a Saturday evening. Everytime I told myself to put it down & go to bed, I just couldn't. I kept telling myself, O.K., one more paragraph. I ended up finishing the book early Sunday morning around 3:30 a.m. Definitely a good book! Way to go Adrienne! Can't wait to read your next one!

Review: Ms. Byrd's novel brings together a true love story and a fantastic action thriller to make one of the most enjoyable books I've read in years. Few authors are able to weave such a strong story fiber from the seperate genres - but "Defenseless" is a fine tapestry indeed. Well Done, Ms. Byrd.
