Summary: A must have
Review: I have been a fan of Rosanne Bittner for years, and aside from her 7-book series, this is her best. You absoloutly CANNOT put it down. The way that she can weave a tale of love, triumph, and heartache are unmatched.

Summary: What a fantastic story!

Summary: Realistic and Romantic!
Review: Trapped in a marriage lacking passion, Maggie Dumont is forced to follow her husband on a treacherous journey across the untamed lands of early America. It is on that journey that she meets a man that will change her life forever. Rafe Morrisey is everything a man should be. Dangerously handsome, rugged, a born adventurer, he sets Maggie's love starved feelings soaring. He teaches Maggie what it really means to be loved by a man. Faced with innumerable dangers, Maggie -- the Pennsylvania socialite-- shows courage and stamina that would rival the toughest pioneer woman and it is with that same courage that she latches on to a love that is forbidden, yet oh-so unforgettable. Rosanne Bittner spins a tale of early America so realistic and full of adventure you'll be swept away to an early time when Indians ruled the land and only the strongest and bravest survived. Definitely a keeper -- not to be missed!
