Rating: Summary: Fun, sexy read! Review: I thought this book was great. Tess and Blake are two very different types of people trying to find a way to make their business work. Watching them spar with each other was so much fun. I laughed a lot reading this book. I really like these types of stories. I also liked how the two characters heated up the pages. This is a sexy, fun book. Blake and Tess are really attracted to each other, and I couldn't wait to see them get together. Loved the book.
Rating: Summary: Untempting Read Review: I usually go in cycles reading Harlequin/Silhouette books and go through a massive reading glut of around 10 a week for a month or two. Right now I am in one of those cycles and I unfortunately wasted an hour reading this book. This is one of those typical "She dislikes him intensively, let me be shrewish to him him heroines" and "He finds her to be a boring prude who should be insulted and teased constantly heroes" plots. About a third way into the book they both suddenly decide they are deeply in lust and then have some amazingly tepid by-the-rote 50's health class type sex scenes. Why the sudden about face? I certainly didn't see why or even care. Then, of course, the "big" plot device to break them up shows up and the heroine is like "see ya, it's been nice" and walks off and the hero is like "yeah, I have to do this and yeah, it was nice while it lasted" and leaves. A very unconvincing bit to solve all the dilemnas and get the two back together ensues and they do and the book ends. Yawn. Boring. If you want a GOOD author who can do the same kind of plot that both sizzles and is well-written try Kate Hoffman. Other recommended authors are just about anything by Carole Mortimer, Julie Kenner, Helen Bianchin or Sally Tyler Hayes.
Rating: Summary: A sexy, fun read Review: Liz Jarrett creates a hero-to-die-for in Tempting Tess. Blake Sutherland has a sexy, boy-next-door appeal and a teasing personality that smacks of sensuality. Is it any wonder stable, level-headed Tess Denison can't resist him? For those who like a fun, sexy read with a dash of humor thrown in for good measure, you won't be disappointed with this story!

Rating: Summary: ...a tempting book you won't be able to set down! Review: Tess finds her partner annoying, talented, juvenile, determined...and totally tempting. He's a mass of contradictions. A puzzle that she's not about to try to work out. But fate, and a new client, force Tess and Blake to work closer together, and the closer she comes, the more puzzling he seems and the closer she comes to figuring him out despite her best intentions not to. Not since Eve offered Adam an apple had a man been more tempted, but Blake doesn't want to hurt Tess. She's a long-term kind of girl, and short term is the best he can offer. But he finds himself wishing he could offer more...it's tempting. Almost as tempting as Tess herself. Liz Jarrett pens a story of two people who are meant for each other in this delightful, hard-to-put-down book by this fantastic author!

Rating: Summary: Sinfully tempting -- highly recommended Review: When Jason Denison decides to suddenly disappear in a quest to "find himself" sister Tess and partner Blake Sutherland are left holding the bag. With all their money invested in the advertising firm, their success is vital. Despite the erotic tension between them, however, Tess and Blake spend more time sparring than they do working together. When the Loverboy account becomes available, however, Tess and Blake must work together seeking out male models who are fun, intelligent, and most of all, sexy. As they travel across the country seeking the appropriate men, Blake quickly realizes that beneath Tess' boxy suits and tightly groomed bun lurks a sexy woman he can't resist. Tess, on the other hand, soon comes to understand that beneath Blake's playboy exterior lurks a savvy, sensitive man she finds exhilarating. Despite their growing attraction, however, Tess and Blake are determined that neither desires a long-term commitment. As Tess reveals her innermost desires and fantasies, however, Blake realizes how difficult it will be to let this extraordinary woman go. Tess also recognizes that while she stepped in because her brother had bailed on the company, she stayed because she loves what she's doing. Although she plans to walk away from the company when the Loverboy ad campaign is complete, she finally her resolve increasingly challenged. Liz Jarrett's tongue-in-cheek sense of humor sparkles in this fun novel. Her love scenes are sensual, but tender; her hero sexy and gentle; and her heroine bold but vulnerable. TEMPTING TESS provides delightfully passionate characters in addition to some really amusing scenes. Highly recommended.
