Rating: Summary: Okay but what was wrong with Nick's brain? Review: Audra Sheffield was determined to get the title deed to her beloved home. Nick Brannon was determined to tame this wild little beauty. Agreeing to a marriage, Audra thought this would ensure that her home stayed safe. Nick wanted to bed Audra the moment they were married. After many misunderstandings and mistakes, the two reconciled and theirs was a happy marriage until a man from Audra's past reappears and threatens her. This is an okay book but the hero is a little bit dumb and the fact that he is so mistrustful of his wife is really annoying. He prattles on about how he can't tell if she's lying to him and questions the paternity of her child. The heroine is more likable and she is a very strong, determined character. The one problem I had with her was that she refused to tell her husband what was really going on which would have cleared everything up. However, I guess the author needed the secret kept so that there would be a story. A light, easy romance book.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Review: Don't believe the former review. This is a wonderful book, a true classic romance full of emotion and witty dialogue. The interaction between Nick and Audra keeps you enthralled. I'm looking for more books from this author.

Rating: Summary: This is a keeper Review: I truly enjoyed PRICELESS. Ms Schaff does a wonderful job with character and plot development. Audra's antics made me both laugh and cry. Nick Brannon's a hero to die for. The plots twists will have you remembering this book way past the last page. And the best part? A sequel is forthcoming. Yes, this book is truly a keeper on anyone's bookshelf. I know it is on mine.
Rating: Summary: Priceless Review: I was so pleased to pick up a book and enjoy it from begining to end. I have read every book that I can get my hands on, this is by far the best one yet. After 25 years of reading and searching for new material, I was throughly impressed by this authors ability, story line, and most of all her sence of humor. I am eagerly waiting for her next book to come out! I hope its soon.

Rating: Summary: 41/2. A good debut by a natural storyteller Review: In 1872 Sheffield Manor, Scotland, Audra Sheffield is irate when she learns her recently deceased step-father left her family estate in the hands of his American nephew, Nicholas Brannon. Audra figures that the gene pool will insure that Nicholas will be a chip off of the old block and turn out to be as disgusting as his uncle. She decides to learn everything she can about her enemy even if it means using un-ladylike behavior. However, Nicholas sees through her disguises and plots to the inner kind Audra. He wants her and she is stunned that she is also attracted to him, though she has doubts about trusting anyone related to William. Still, he manages to convince her to form a marriage of convenience that he prays turns into a lifetime of love. Crossing the Atlantic and most of the continent to Colorado, the couple falls in love, but tentacles from the past reach out in an effort to destroy their mounting happiness. Readers of Victorian and western romances w! ill find Donna Schaff's debut novel to be PRICELESS. Though the marriage of convenience story line was there before the birth of the universe, Ms. Schaff uses witty dialogue between her two appealing lead protagonists to give the pre-history plot a very fresh perspective. Fans of the two sub-genres will thoroughly enjoy the blending of elements into a well-written, fun to read historical romance by a new talent. Harriet Klausner
Rating: Summary: Add this one to your cart, QUICK!!! Review: It's a real find when you read a book that makes you cry silently and laugh out loud. This book does both. I will be looking for more from Donna Schaff in the future. Enjoy!!
Rating: Summary: A nice book to cuddle up to a fire with on a winter night Review: Ms. Schaff did a good job writing Priceless. It was an overall enjoyable read. I felt that the characters were strong, yet not quite up to what their potential hints at. Our heroine is strong and independent yet makes some very rash decisions. Our hero was fun to follow, but also seemed lacking, why couldn't he trust our heroine? I do look forward to reading her next novel...
