Summary: It's Amazing What Love Can Do To People

Marita was engaged to Remmy, he died and it broke her heart.
Shemar was married and divorced and that broke his heart.However, the vacation turned out to be perfect for the both of them although they had to deal with jealous friends.
Shemar tried to deny his feelings for Marita (which i thought was dumb). He really treated her bad in the beginning but i guess he realised that she was a deep person. Marita wanted to regain their friendship but Shemar made it difficult for her to do so and it created tension between them. Later in the novel, they both realise their fondness for each other is strong and instead of denying it, they let it take over and resulted in them making passionate love. What made this story so beautiful is the way Ms. Bussey incorporated action and envy into the plot. Pam (Shemar's "cousin", had a love for him that drove her to do anything, even hurt Marita.
Then there was Valerian, the guy who murdered Marita's fiance Remmy. He had a passion for revenge from Marita and this passion led him to conspire with Pam to kidnap Marita and allow her to be taken to a home where women's bodies are used. This story was really sweet and exciting. I never wanted to put down this book.
If you read this book and enjoyed it, i guarantee you will enjoy "Images of Ecstasy". Also written by Ms. Bussey. The girl got talent going on.

Review: Lifelong friends find love with each other. Shemar's ex-wife left him bitter and afraid to trust that a woman could appreciate and love him for who he was and not what he was. Marita remained caught in the memory of her first and true love with Reammy, holding to close to his love that was cut short by his tragic death. Reammy's love seemed to transend time and space as he encouraged and warned Marita in spirit to love and hold on to love. Reammy spoke of the evil which she knew, that evil was Valerian and Pam who both because of their warped desires and misconception of love let jealousy consume them. Shemar overcame his mistrust that was the obstacle to his believing in Marita and let the love he had always held for her flourish. Marita held on to love that was set free in her thru the tender and caring love of Shemar, while setting her love for Reammy to rest.

Review: Romance readers will love Dangerous Passions, a fast-paced suspenseful thriller. The setting of tropical and lush Bermuda is a perfect aphrodisiac for a number of romantic encounters and rendezvous, between Marita and Shemar. This book simmers, heats-up, boils to the burning point and explodes! Marita is an authentic "damsel in distress". Shemar is the "oh-so-perfect and did I mention gorgeous knight in glistening armour". There are some wicked bad guys too........but fortunately, true and I mean true love prevails. Buy this one and keep it.
