Rating: Summary: Another great read by a very talented author... Review: If someone had given me this book "without" the authors name on it, I would have known in less than 3 pages it was written by Lynda Sandoval. She has such a unique, witty, wonderful voice that is very distinguishable as her own. Lilly and Rico aren't just characters in a book, they are flesh and blood people who leap out of the pages of "Dreaming of You" and capture your heart. I can't wait for Lynda Sandoval's next book. Keep them coming!

Rating: Summary: Tender, funny, and brilliant. Review: It always amazes me how Lynda Sandoval can cram so much about her characters into so few pages. By the end of chapter one, I couldn't stop reading until I knew that supermodel Lilly Lujan and gardener Enrique Pacias would overcome the vast differences between their two worlds to realize that they belonged together. By turns humorous, heartbreaking, and very, very real, DREAMING OF YOU is a book that will long hold a place on my keeper shelf. Fortunately, I heard from an inside source that Lilly's friend Pilar and Enrique's brother Iso get their own books, so we have more to look forward to from this very talented author.

Rating: Summary: Dreaming of You Review: Lilly Lujan is one of the top supermodels in her field. She is staying at her agent's getting a vacation. She looks out to the magnificent gardens and sees the most breathtaking thing there-- Enrique the gardener. She decides to introduce herself. Enrique Pacais knows that he should not talk to Senor Molinaro's guests, but she has approached him. So he is polite and friendly, but not overly so. He has worked hard to find a good job so that he can send money home to his mother and sisters in Mexico. Lilly continues to meet him in the gardens, and soon she's asking to help him with the gardening. As he works with her, he discovers that her beauty is more than skin-deep. The story line was a bit predictable though and was a drawback. The characters were vivid and extremely likable.

Rating: Summary: Dreaming of You Review: Lynda Sandoval has another "hit" with DREAMING OF YOU. A tender love story, it will tug at your heartstrings and make you realize what's important in life. The story's magic carries you along, making you cheer for the lovely Lilly and the handsome Enrique as they overcome the chasm separating their lives and make their own world, a dream come true. You won't want to put this book down, and you'll want to read all of Lynda's other Encanto titles, too! I thoroughly enjoyed DREAMING OF YOU and hope to see more books from this very talented author.
Rating: Summary: Another winner Review: Ms. Sandoval continues to display her talent in her second book of the Three Amigas series. She makes an unlikely attraction between a supermodel and a gardner so real, so tender and so funny you cannot believe it hasn't happened to a real life couple. Her witty dialogue and quirky descriptions are more fun than a barrel of monkeys. Her secondary characters are well developed and have strong voices but do not overpower the main characters. I was happy to see Esme, Gavino and Pilar from the first book make an appearance. I like to check in with past characters to see how they are doing. And the character of Enrique's brother Isias was so much fun I can't wait to see him in his own book. Ms. Sandoval's love stories resonate with readers because they remind us that regardless of whether we are rich or poor, talented or ordinary, beautiful or nerdy we all need a little love in our lives.
