Summary: A Very Good Book!
Review: Kara Kincaid is a woman with a mission. However, she does not count on Brent Stevens coming into her life or disrupting her intentions. Also, Kara did not think of others being involved or getting hurt by her actions. Kara meets Jenny Eastman and her family. They have more than one thing in common. Kara must makes some decisions that could not only hurt her and her career, but hurt a lot of other people, who she has come to care a lot about. However, can Kara let her feelings overcome her desire for revenge or will love play a major part in her "heart's desire"?

Summary: Talk about family drama
Review: Kara Smith got the shock of her life and on her mother's death bed at that. Her father was not really dead, but a famous congressman. All Kara could feel for her father was anger. He wanted her mother to get rid of her. Her mother loved this man to death. Kara decided she would make him pay for her mother's pain.

Kara met Brent Stevens. Her father's right hand man. Brent was also engaged to Kara's half sister Jenny.

Jenny turned out to be kind of like a fatal attraction when it came to Brent.

Kara's half brother Dante, was drooling all over her when they met. He had his problems too, with women.

Kara's stepmother Tiffany, was a drunk. But, after I continued to read their story, I see how she was just trying to drown her sorrows.

Brent and Kara fell in love unexpectedly and that love was truly tested.

This was a wonderful story by Ms. Jackson. I wanted to re-read this story right before I picked up Tiffany's story Never Too Late For Love.

Summary: This book was not what I expected.
Review: Manica Jackson' Heart's Desire was an very time consuming book to read. Although this book is non-fiction, I felt the story line was too too unrealistic. The characters, Kara and Brent were well developed and fun to get to know. The idea of a US Senator going off like that and trying to kill almost everyone in the book was quite unbelievable and unexpected for this type of book. Athough I wanted to put this book down and start another one, my sister loved it and could not and would not put it down. All in all, I would suggest you read this book.

Summary: Stimulating!!!
Review: This was one of the best novels I have read in a long time. I especially liked the characters Brent and Kara. I was so elated when they finally got together. However, It was a shame that she found her father was a total jerk!! Because of him, his whole family suffered. Nevertheless, the ending turned out beautifully. This is my first novel by Miss Jackson, and I am looking forward to reading more. Keep up the good work!!
