Rating: Summary: i loved it Review: This was one of the sweetest books that I have read. Lila is the oldest of seven children. Their mother has died and she is responsible for their welfare because their dad is a drunk. She meets daniel, the town doctor, and with each meeting, their feelings for each other grow. Its nice to know that they overcame the obstacles that prevented them from being together. The only unrealistic part of the novel was that Daniel was willing to take on all of her brothers and sisters(six of them) plus the other children they want to have. All in all, it was a sweet book.
