Rating: Summary: Suprising Review: It was such a surprise to read the book and then find out that one of the main characters has been killed off and I honestly cried with Summer and felt her pain. But it was good that she had Jeremy to love her and her children. It will be a book that I will never forget.
Rating: Summary: If you love Indian Romances you will LOVE this one Review: Oh my God! I read Summer Storm years ago and I loved it. I read the book so many times it started to fall apart. Eventually I lost it but now I just ordered another copy. Read this book! If you love Native American romances this is for you. As a child Summer embraces her Cheyenne heritage but when she is forced to live as white she eventually comes to feel shamed about her past. With love and passion he eventually makes her love and want him like no other. The surprise ending is one you don't want to miss. Catherine Hart is a wonderful author. I love the way she makes Summer Storm strong yet still willing to give her man her all. READ THIS BOOK!

Rating: Summary: Wonderful Sequel!!!! Review: Summer Storm is probably one of the best sequel books I have ever read! If you have read the first book "Silken Savage" then Summer Storm will take your breath away. This book was written with more passion and tragedy than the first. A must read.
Rating: Summary: disappointed Review: The killing of a major character was disappointing. I just don't understand how Summer can be deeply in love with Windrider but get over him so quickly for Jeremy. Also, I knew that Jeremy and Summer would end up together, so that was unpredictable. I think I would've enjoyed this story if Windrider and Summer had a wonderful life together. It would've been interesting to see how the author allowed Jeremy to get on with his life and find a love of his own.
Rating: Summary: As a sequal to Silken Savage, this is a disappointment. Review: The reason for my low rating of this book was based on the
story line. Due to the death of a key character, the story
seemed to fall apart. The writing was up to Ms. Hart's
high standards, but the complete story line was a big disappointment because of the death of a main character. If
this character remained the story would have stayed together.
Rating: Summary: An Enjoyable Read Review: This is the story of a girl named Summer Storm, who is born to a Cheyanne father and white mother. She is betrothed to Windrider as a child of three. For the first few years of her life, she is raised as a cheyanne, but when the tribes are forced on the reservations, she and her family move to a ranch and live (for the most part) a non-Indian life. As a child, Summer falls in love with Jeremy, who becomes a veteranarian. As she grows up, he falls in love with her, but is afraid to commit because he is thirteen years older. In an attempt to make him jelous, she begins seeing Roger, a real jerk, who is prejudice against Indians. She makes the mistake of defending Windrider to him, inadvertantly agreeing to honor their engagement in the process. This is where I get a little upset, because you see, as soon as she says it (even though Windrider is not present) she Must marry him, no exceptions. No matter that she loves someone else, and despises the cheyanne way of life and the thought of living on a reservation. Her parents make her go through with it anyway, without a thought for their daughter's happiness. Of course, after a lot of desperate courting, Windrider does make Storm fall for him. And of course she comes to love their way of life and makes him a perfect wife. Meanwhile, Jeremy is haunted with regret over the love he let get away, but resolves to be good friends to both she and Windrider. Since the ending has already been given away, I can tell you that Windrider is killed and she falls back in love with Jeremy. I'm actually glad it happened that way, as I really thought it unfair they were separated in the first place. Anyway, it is a good book that can be read for more than just the romance.
Rating: Summary: Heart-wrenching Review: Very entertaining. Also disappointing... Very disturbing. Not the type of book I would wish to read again.
